SIMPSON MOCKS BUFFALO FAUX PAS
Pop beauty JESSICA SIMPSON has poked fun at her much-mocked comments about buffalos in a new US TV commercial for franchise eatery PIZZA HUT.
The IRRESISTIBLE singer raised laughs and became the target of continued jokes, when she refused the offer of Buffalo wings from husband NICK LACHEY because she didn't eat Buffalo meat.
When Simpson made the comments on her hit reality TV show NEWLYWEDS: NICK AND JESSICA, she failed to realise that the wings are named for the city of Buffalo in New York state - not the creature.
And in ads for Pizza Hut's Buffalo Chicken Pizza, her younger sister ASHLEE mockingly asks the busty beauty, "That's a buffalo with wings, right Jess?"
Simpson responds, "I know buffalos don't have wings," before turning to see a herd of squawking buffalos with wings.
