Physical Characteristics: Michael Schiavo is 6’6" and weighs close to 250 lbs., compared to Terri’s 5’3" height and 115 lbs. weight.
Residence: Moved from Philadelphia, PA to St. Petersburg, FL in April of 1986. From 1995 to the present, living with his fiancée, Jodi Centonze and their two children, residing in Clearwater, FL.
Early Employment: Michael Schiavo’s initial employment in Florida was the onset of employment at six different restaurants over the ensuing 2 ½ years. His length of employment at times was only for two weeks to a month.
Michael Schiavo’s attitude was a major contributor to his chronic unemployment. He had a tendency to outspend Terri’s income, and his inability to retain employment created a serious financial problem, impacting their marriage. Also, it has been alleged that Michael’s restaurant environment introduced him to drugs.
Some Background Information: Most people, particularly Terri, were easily intimidated because of Michael’s size. It has been documented that Michael had rages of anger and would use his physical stature to bully people, and as indicated in their attached personal experiences and affidavits, it was mostly women that were the subject of Michael’s episodes of anger.
In the early 1990’s, Michael Schiavo’s treating psychiatrist, Dr. Peter Kaplan, stated in a phone conversation with Terri’s father, in regards to a violent episode occurring between Michael and Terri’s younger sister Suzanne, that Michael was potentially dangerous and should a situation re occur, to call the police.
In a deposition from November 1992, that Michael admitted Dr. Kaplan prescribed Welbutron, Paneior, Elavil and Prozac medication to treat his condition.
Additionally, contrary to everything Michael admittedly learned in his CPR training, he did not turn Terri over and clear her airway the night that she collapsed. His CPR training could have re-started her heart.

I hope your source checked their facts because it is rather libelous. I don't particularly like the decision Michael Shiavo made, personally- I would have handled it differently, but that looks like shallow attempt to blame him (Michael) solely for what happened to Terri in the first place.

I have to laugh at whoever came up with this ridiculous slam against this man.
Look at the physical attributes alone! Comparing him to Terri? What is that implying? Oh yeah..the abuse..well, I can see that some are still trying that one even though the allegations have been far from accurate according to anyone that has investigated the claims. (and that is just what it seems to be...claims with no merit).
The background info is just a joke. What kind of background information is that on a person. Usually that consists of more than that..and yes I know it said some..but the "some" meant only what they wanted people to know.
They must have forgotten that Terri's own mother said that after the heart attack, she couldnt have made it without Michael Schiavo...for he was her support system for YEARS!

You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Schindlers has something to do with this article as it reeks of their scent on it. How else could you explain the alleged phone call between Mike’s alleged psychiatrist and the Schindlers, that is if it even happened at all.
The beauty of this is that ONCE AGAIN, they are accusing Mike of causing Terri Schiavo’s condition even though they know Terri’s condition was low potassium brought on by bulimia, something they helped Mike sue for in court. Now suddenly, after living with Mike for 3yrs after Terri’s collapse, Mike is the devil reincarnate?
This is just one of the dozens of character assassinations dealt by the Schindlers and it speaks directly to the character of such people. I wonder what dirt someone could dredge up about the Schindlers’ past but we don’t hear of that happening now do we? This also speaks volumes to the character of the man they’re trying to assassinate.
It's hilarious that people accuse someone of something when they know NOTHING about him. That's the point... PERIOD.
I could give a rats tail about this guy.... it's just the people who slander him, and his character. They would NEVER say anything like that about him if it wasn't for disapproving of Terri's situation.

Simply put, no one is saying he is an angel, just not the demonized human the Schindlers suddenly made him out to be.
Can you show me one article or one TV show like A&E who has perp’ed him as to be an angle? I can show you several that accuse him of practically being the son of Satan. We can start with the opening article from this thread.
You can tell he has some mental problems though if you see him on interviews like with Larry King. I've dealt with a number of psychotic people in my life. It is the same kind of peculiarness that Scott Peterson shows.

Isnt that hilarious when we talk about how wrong it is that when the Schindlers have managed to make this guy look "demonized," we are accused of being extremists about the the other side?
Some people need to learn to read just a tad bit better.
I especially find it even more amusing when other people try and assess a person's mental condition without having the capabilities or knowledge.

It never ceases to amaze how people can judge someone based on how they look, inklings, little devils or angels sitting on their shoulders and never even breathed the same air for 3 seconds of the one standing accused. I mean having an opinion about allowing her to die is one thing but this?

I watched him on Larry King Live also. I saw a man who is tired of having to defend what he is doing. YEARS of character assination can not be easy to endure, then to have to go on TV and answer the same stupid questions has to be horrible. Do you think he should have cried? Terri had been gone for a long time when he did the first interview in 2003. Many men are not emotional in public. You are chasing at shadows on this one.
