| Bono, Kylie and Pitt appear in charity TV advertising campaign
Bono, Kylie Minogue and Brad Pitt are among a galaxy stars that appear in a new TV advertising campaign for charity Make Poverty History.
The trio of celebrities have all been filmed clicking their fingers one after the other, symbolising the fact that every three seconds somewhere in the world a child dies because of poverty.
Other stars to feature in the advert include Hugh Grant, supermodel Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer and US rap star Puff Daddy.
The solemn advert will air on all the major British television channels at 8pm tonight (31.03.05) in an attempt to achieve maximum exposure for the charity.
A spokesman said: "Each click symbolises the death of a child. Across the developing world, one child dies every three seconds from poverty.
This is the first time an awareness advert will be screened at prime time in a donated space."
The charity, which aims to end poverty and improve living conditions in the Third World, has previously been endorsed by numerous celebrity supporters with Coldplay star Chris Martin writing the slogans on his hands at concerts to highlight its work to fans.
