Six months after saying "I do," Britney is following in her husband's footsteps, breaking her self-imposed hiatus to do her first magazine cover and interview since becoming Mrs. Federline. In the article, she reveals to Allure that being a newlywed wasn't all blissful at first.
The racy cover photo has a naked Britney wearing just a necklace and comes along with an interview where Mrs. Federline opens up about her month marriage to Kevin. The pop princess admits that after just 21 days they hit the skids.
"We hit a little bit of reality, hardcore, after the first three weeks. But we handled it fine and now things are starting to go really smooth," said Britney.
Britney said adjusting to living with Kevin, her backup dancer, after knowing him for a few months was to blame.
"Before we got married we were on tour, and we were like kids, ordering room service, saying, 'Lets go out tonight.' And then all of a sudden you have this home, you have the kids, you have the diapers, get the dogs to the vet. It's this whole reality, you know," Britney told Allure.
Hubby Kevin told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush their marriage would always be a work in progress.
As for saving herself, Britney credits the mystical form of Judaism Kabbalah for that. On her Web site she thanks Madonna for introducing her to Kabbalah when she needed it the most saying: "Through Kabbalah, I was able to look within myself, clear all the negative energy and turn my life around."
However, gay '80s pop singer takes umbrage with Madonna's studies, telling The Irish Examiner that Madonna is embracing a religion, which preaches homosexuality is a disease.
"She's such a hypocrite. This is the woman who has embraced homosexuality and used it to her advantage," he said.
