Martha Stewart has been released from a West Virginia prison at 12:30 am Friday morning, nearly five months after being incarcerated. A private jet is now taking Stewart to her estate in Bedford, New York.

Martha will spend the next five months under "house arrest", where she must remain in the house except occasional time outside the confines of the house (not to exceed 48 hours for the week).

Well that was quick.

Mental note: become famous before comitting a crime.

Martha did not need to make a profit from inside info.

She was already worth many $$$$$$$ from her IPO offering of stock.

She got greedy and got caught.

They call this "White Collar" Crimes because only rich people can afford to keep their collars so clean.

And now she will be making even more money because of all the free press coverage.

She did what many others do and get away with it.

My problem is ...she didn't need the money. Bad bad girl.http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/k0/smashfreak.gif

I am so happy.

Anyone thrown in prison for "lying" to a federal official deserves a break.

I hope she gets even more richer. I hope she gets richer than all the CEO's of all the Fortune 500 companies in America combined.

You go Martha!!!!

(I admire any woman who likes frilly lace, plants, and food)

Maybe they'll focus on Osama now that "justice" has been served in the Martha case.

Apparently the poncho was made by inmates as a going away gift to Martha.

If she can teach her prinson-mates to make such lovely apparell, maybe there is hope.

Although I don't know, isn't reality TV the last straw you grab as your career is gasping for air? I think so

Martha will have more fans than ever. The media gave her lots of free publicity.

More women will admire her "Courage" in the face of disaster.

She may not get proper TV sponsors but will have more interest in her new plans.

And she picked up plenty new convict friends. What a dubious honor!

March 14, 2005 -- ROBERT Yeganeh, the flamboyant owner of the Love My Shoes shops, has designed footwear for Martha Stewart that will hide her ankle bracelet. The publicity-craving cobbler, who last year held a press conference to announce that he had sent a pair of size-11 diamond shoes to Paris Hilton, tells us he made a pair of pumps with a pearl strap to conceal the bracelet, as well as a loafer with a poncho-like material over her ankle.

"It's all about Martha's ankles now, so she's gotta be seen in nice shoes," he said. True to form, Yeganeh will unveil his latest creations at a press conference today at 12 W. 57th St.
