Paris Hilton takes racing lessons to outwit paparazzi

Paris Hilton has been taking motor racing lessons in a bid to outwit paparazzi photographers chasing her through the streets of Los Angeles.

The 'Simple Life' star, who drives a £200,000 Ferrari, has revealed she went on a speedy racing course while on holiday in Grand Prix city, Monaco, last year to learn how to avoid being shot by long-lens snappers.

She is quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "I took lessons in Monaco with real racing cars. I love fast cars."

The 24-year-old beauty claims she has already put her new skills into action on her local streets.
The blonde babe says that she speeds along residential roads late at night - and is so good that she has never been caught or had a crash.

She said: "I've driven on the streets at 140 miles an hour when no one's around. "I've never had an accident."

I also remember reading though that she gets caught speeding a LOT, but she offers the police men her phone number and a possible date and she never gets tickets. I don't think she actually ever goes on dates with them though. The number she gives out is probably fake. What does she do if she's pulled over by a female cop?

IT'S been pretty clear what Australia thinks of Paris Hilton, but now it seems the feeling was mutual.

Hilton has joined the Nicole Kidman club in giving Australia's paparazzi a serve, describing them as annoying and one photographer in particular as a "sneaky little bastard".
She also described her accommodation here as "cheesy".

Her comments are aired in yet another Paris Hilton reality TV show, which has just premiered in the US on the MTV network.

The show followed Hilton and other cast members as they spent two months last year shooting the remake of the classic horror film, House of Wax, at the Warner Roadshow studios on the Gold Coast.

And while the camera crew didn't bother the girl famous in Australia for powdering her nose so regularly during the Melbourne Cup carnival and pashing celebrity of five minutes Robert Mills two years ago, she was not so keen on local paparazzi.

"It was really annoying in Australia with the press, the paparazzi," Hilton said on the show.

Hilton was staying at The Regent apartment building in Surfers Paradise, where photographers with long lenses went to great lengths to shoot her – some renting apartments in blocks opposite her.

"So, every time I'd be in, like, the hot tub or whatever, like, the next day it would be on the cover of every magazine," Hilton said.

The footage showed Hilton playing games with paps and reading local publications showing her opening a fridge in her unit.

"Is he out there?" Hilton asked on the show. "Sneaky little bastard."

Hilton also apparently did not approve of her Surfers Paradise accommodation. "This is my cheesy apartment building," she said. "It reminds me of a motel."

House of Wax, a remake of the 1953 horror classic starring Vincent Price, is scheduled to open in Australian cinemas July 14.

When Paris and Nicky came to Australia, they weren't that famous yet, but they were getting there. Then Paris slept with Australian Idol finalist Rob Mills and all hell broke loose, suddently she was everywhere. If she hadn't slept with Millsy, she wouldn't have attracted so much attention, but suddenly everyone here wanted to know more about her.

She can't really whinge,it was the shots of her and Millsy on the morning after on that hotel balcony that got Australia's attention, without all that publicity, a lot of people here still wouldn't know who she was, Simple Life probably wouldn't have screeened here, etc, etc.

She owes almost her whole fame in Australia to that photographer.
