I just got the thermal visor. I ran back through all the enemys and I am afraid I went too fast. I got to that area where you use the spinner to raise the water but I am on the top platforms. I can't get the conduit to be scannable so I can get into the locked door up top. I am all out of missles(I spent them all on that Cordite). Do I have to go back into the dark and fight pirates to get something else to open that door? My kids are buggin' me to get the spiderball(OK-I'd like it too!)

odd, i seem to remember answering a question similar to this one already in another thread but, whatever. After you blow up the cordite, switch to your thermal visor and look at what was behind the cordite. You should see a source of heat coming from a small box, itll look redish orange, shoot that with your wave beam. thatll charge up the door and unlock it. youll have to do that several more times throughout the game. if you scan a door, and is says that there should be a consol of some sort near by to charge it up, always switch over to thermal vision and look for those small sources of heat

im pretty sure youll get the spiderball after fighting Thardus. hes in the phendrana drifts
