| American Idol contestant Kimberley Locke, who is currently in the studio recording a follow-up to her 2004 debut One Love has gotten engaged to her high school sweetheart, Don Campbell.
Locke, whose single “8th World Wonder” scored a Billboard sales No. 1, will find “Coulda Been,” from One Love, hitting radio February 28. The track is already a hit in the UK. The London Sun called the song, “a classic slice of R&B/pop at its very best.”
The singer’s sophomore album is due before the end of the year. Locke has been working with a number of collaborators, including Denise Rich (who’s written for Patti LaBelle among many others) and Shep Solomon (Ryan Cabrera). | |
