Even more good news, especially for us long-time TAR fanatics who always worried about the show's future, The Amazing Race 8 is already in the works... with a twist. It will consist of fewer, but larger 4-member teams of relatives. The teams will not necessarily be just a set of parents and two kids...but could be a mix of siblings, generations, or future in-laws (kids must be 12 or older). This edition will film over the summer and air in the fall. In my opinion, this is a great way to shake-up the franchise.

The Amazing Race 9 also appears to be greenlighted and scheduled to air early 2006.

I don't think it's a good idea to involve kids in these shows. Maybe from 16 upwards, but 12? Seems a bit too young for me.

The guys from "Deliverance" crack me up. They need subtitles most of the time.
