| So what's the plan if Iraq becomes the Islamic republic of Iraq, a theocracy, and alies itself with axis of evil Iran, and starts making nasty noises towards Israel, and starts nationalising the oil, and using the revenue to benefit it's own people. Of course this may not happen, but it would be interesting to know if anyone thinks the neocons have made any plans for just such a contingency?
Or could Bush surprise everyone and allow a US/Israeli unfriendly democractic government to rule in Iraq?
Obviously there was no plan B after "mission accomplished" when Iraqis refused to welcome the US with open arms and flowers, but surely the Bush administration wouldn't have made the same mistake again. Surely before this election, they made a plan B, just in case? | |
