schmiggens said this in post #18 : SPEARS PURSUED BY PLAYBOY
Sexy pop star Britney Spears has reportedly been offered over a million dollars to pose naked for men's magazine Playboy.
According to gossip site The Scoop, the raunchy publication owned by Hugh Hefner has been encouraged by Britney's recent saucy shoots for Esquire and Rolling Stone magazines to promote her comeback album In the Zone, and are hoping to persuade her to bare all for them.
A source tells the site, "Playboy is desperate to get her. She's this generation's sex symbol."
Britney's spokesperson would not comment on the claims, and Playboy magazine simply stated, "Britney is a beautiful young woman."
Playboy may be denied of Britney's hot stuff!
Pop diva Britney Spears' much awaited appearance in Playboy might not be realised now.
The singer was to pose nude for the magazine, but this may not happen now as the editorial director James Kaminsky is leaving, reports the Star.
Reportedly,Kaminsky was the one overseeing the negotiations with the pop tart, who wanted millions in exchange for stripping down.
"Everything's on hold until the new director takes over,"a source from the magazine was quoted as saying.(ANI)
It has been one of the hottest rumours on the internet - leaked photos which appeared to show that Britney Spears had finally taken up Playboy's £20million offer to pose nude.
Cyberspace is full of plenty of dubious pictures of celebrities - real and faked - but these pictures appeared to be the real deal and there was huge interest in them.
But a photographer yesterday put an end to the debate by saying he took the pictures and they were not of the pop star.
The black-and-white shots appeared on dozens of websites, many advertising them as leaked Playboy images of Spears.
Real or fake?
The internet was soon humming with chatrooms full of debates on whether they were real or fake.
One chatroom user wrote: "Wow! That model does not just resemble her, she could pass for her identical twin."
But photographer Eric Striffler has said his images were glamour shots of a model called Emily, and insisted he did not set out to create lookalike pictures.
Approached by Playboy
"Emily is a great model and we were shooting some tasteful, glamorous shots," he added. "It was only later we realised how much they looked like Britney."
Mr Striffler did say he would love to take real photos of Spears for Playboy.
Britney's spokesperson said the star had been approached 'many times' by Playboy, with £20million reportedly on offer. "They even offered her cash to pose on the cover, wearing clothes. I still said no. She doesn't want to go that way at this point in her life," she added.
Not to mention all the buzz over the alleged nude photos of her. I think it would be a RIDICULOUS money-maker for Playboy if Britney actually posed. Heff would make another billion that month...
Waitaminute....
BOTH of those pics are of Emily? I thought the bottom one was Britney!
