| The whining is not new. In 1946, the New York Times was writing of how another country freed from tyranny "hated" its liberator. And LIFE magazine wrote of how the United States was "losing the peace" in post-war Germany. What will our peace-activist press say after the first succesful democratic election in Iraq's history? You can be sure it will be nothing good.
