NICKELBACK DRUMMER LEAVES BAND

Drummer Ryan Vikedal quit Canadian rock band Nickelback Wednesday.

The remaining members of the band have yet to announce a replacement for Vikedal, who joined the band shortly before they recorded their 1999 album The State.

In a statement released through their record label, singer Chad Kroeger, guitarist Ryan Peake and bassist Mike Kroeger wish Vikedal, "All the best in his future endeavors."

This is one of my favorite bands. I hope this doesn't affect their music....at least for the worst. Though I could of course deal with an approvement

I thought they had broken up, didn't Chad Kroeger have some solo project going on?

Yea I had heard that on the radio before their last cd 'The Long Road' came out...And then a couple months later I see a new cd from them in the stores.

But yea, he seems to do alot of songs for movies and such. He doesn't need his own band to sound good. He has an incredible voice, I love it.
