Honestly, I think telling him to shut up is more polite than bringing your Bible and preaching to him.

If you go to a public school, bringing in a Bible and "teaching" a fellow student would probably be the wrong place & time anyhow. If you honestly want to share your faith with him AND he is willing, I would suggest meeting after school, somewhere.

Another note: if what he is discussing with you is sexual in nature and is making you uncomfortable, I would tell him just that. I'm sure your school has some sort of sexual harassment policy if it gets really out of control.

Just wait until he says something really out of wack. When he says something you don't like, let him know straight up you don't feel ok talkin about whateva.

If you're cool with him as a friend or school acquaintence, but you just aren't yet comfortable with that part of his life, tell him just that the next time he gets explicit. I'd say something to the effect of, "I have no problem with you as a person, but I'm not comfortable with how open you are with me about that part of your life. Just about everything else is fine, and I don't want to offend you, but i think you should know that I'm uncomfortable with it."

Just because someone is TALKING to you, doesn't give you the right to tell them to shut up!!! I'm a gay person, and if you don't like me because of my sexuality, I would rather have you say something, than be rude. If he is talking to you in a sexual manner, and trying to get you to go out with him, say something.... but, don't just hate a person because of their sexuality.

Bashing someone over the head with a Bible (so to speak) is a completely idle use for it. Just because this person is gay doesn't mean that he is anymore sinful or sinless than you yourself. What if one day he walked in with a Bible and started preaching to you about how he thought your shirt was too low cut, or because he didn't like your low jeans. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it.

God created everyone, black, white, male, female, gay and straight. I really don't think God would appreciate you bad mouthing one of his creations just because you don't like their sexuality. Everyone is special and equally loved under his eyes.

The Bible should be used to help people find the right path. To some people Christianity is not the right path, but to many it is. The Bible should never be used to hurt ANYONE, or in anyway make them feel bad. If you really care that much about religion, then stop focusing on the fact that he is gay, and worry more about what he believes in, because in the end being gay won't matter. What matters in life are the people we open ourselves up to and express ourselves with, the people we make relationships with (including Jesus Christ), and how we lived our lives.

If it is the fact that he is gay that is bothering you, then I think you need to take a step back and look at him for who he is and not focus on his sexual preferences. However, if he is talking to you about certain issues that bother you, or is becoming a little too graphic or detailed with what he is talking about, then tell him your not comfortable discussing it with him. If you say it in a nice non-offensive way he should have no problem with it.

ok but that right there is a dictation because HE said himself that it is not right a sin when a may lay with a man
im not saying it is wrong but if god said himself then why did he create the persons life that way if he knew wat he wrote he could read it correctly and he can comprehend it then why is my question

nicoleb... to each their own. Some people see that we are born the way that we are... while others follow a book that says differently.

I think that a lot of different people, with different beliefs, would have something to say. I know that I do... but, that's another chapter, in another book!!!

Who is to say what religion is right or wrong.....thats why we shouldnt be judging people and telling people that things they do are sinful.

Nicoleb, is your friend a nice person? That is all that should matter. Your friend knows you are a Christian. You don't need to Bible thump them. A friend is a friend.
