Just like her most famous screen character, perennial singleton Renee Zellweger is still searching for love.

The Bridget Jones star is back on her own again after it was revealed she has split with rock star lover Jack White.

Renee, 35, met the White Stripes singer two years ago on the set of Cold Mountain in Romania.
But the couple have barely been seen out in public, except for at this year's Oscars ceremony back in February.

It is rumoured White, 29, wanted the actress to move closer to his Detroit base. Texan Renee bought two houses nearer to the singer, but it appears to no avail.

Now it is back to the drawing board for Renee, who has previously dated George Clooney and Jim Carrey.

A spokesman for the actress described the split as "amicable".

Shame. But she seemed to be avoiding the questions about him while she was out and about promoting Bridget Jones 2, so a lot of people thought it might be on the rocks.

ZELLWEGER SELLS HOME TO GET OVER WHITE

Hollywood beauty Renee Zellweger reportedly is selling her Los Angeles home because it holds unpleasant memories of her split from ex-lover Jack White.

The Oscar winner separated from the White Stripes rocker over the Christmas holidays, and she's desperate to leave the house they shared together so she can enjoy her new single status, reports British newspaper the Daily Sport.

An insider explains, "She says she is not missing Jack. She said yes she is single again -- but she is happy to be so. She also said she's selling her L.A. home because of the nasty memories associated with it, and wants to get away from the public eye."
