Kate Bosworth reportedly dumped Orlando Bloom because she was fed-up with his male friends.
The screen beauty revealed the final straw came after the heartthrob actor spent a debauched night out with fellow star Sean Bean. The sexy actress was reportedly virtually ignored earlier that evening at the Golden Globe Awards, where her boyfriend of three years chose to chat instead to 'Pirates of the Caribbean' co-star Johnny Depp.
He then disappeared with actor Sean Bean for a heavy drinking session until the early hours.
A source close to the couple, who met on the set of a Gap advert in 2002, is quoted by Britain's Daily Star as saying: "Kate always knew that Orlando liked to chill with his mates, but it just started to get ridiculous. With their busy schedules they hardly got to see each other as it was, so when he disappeared with the boys it was awful. She told him that she couldn't see the relationship working unless they made more time for one another. But it just didn't happen."
Despite Orlando taking Kate on a make-or-break holiday to Brazil last month in a bid to repair their relationship, she decided she had had enough. The friend added: "Orlando is a social bloke and he misses the camaraderie of the laddish drinking culture in the UK. When Sean was around he jumped at the chance to sink a few jars."

It's not great news for those hoping to pull Orlando Bloom... as it seems the British actor is off the menu again.
Clearly he was only on the seasonal specials board after reports that he's back together with his ex.
After splitting up with Kate Bosworth three months ago, Orlando told The Sun that he's desperate to make things work the second time around.
And he wooed her back with style ... forking out for a £3,000-a-night bungalow at the ultra-exclusive Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood. He then rented a video, sent out for a takeaway and settled for a romantic night in, determined to win her back after she dumped him.
The Sun claims Orlando told them - before slipping into the bungalow: "Nobody knows about us yet. We are doing our best but we're taking it very slowly and very carefully to see if we can make it. Tonight will be our last night together before Kate leaves for filming. She'll be gone for ten days so we are going to spend the evening together with a video and a meal."
Orlando is all set to start filming the sequel to Pirates Of The Caribbean, while Kate will play Lois Lane in Superman Returns.
Despite blaming their heavy schedules for ending their two year romance the first time round, a friend told the paper: "It's definitely back on."

Kate Bosworth has reportedly fallen back into the arms of her Australian model lover following Orlando Bloom's return to the U.K.
Bloom was photographed cuddling up to heartbroken actress Sienna Miller on Sunday following her split from Jude Law -- and it appears Bosworth has rekindled her romance with Lundi Shackleton.
Bosworth met Shackleton on the set of the new "Superman" movie where he works as an assistant to director Bryan Singer, and they enjoyed a string of dates until Bloom's arrival in Sydney last month.
Bosworth put Shackleton to one side to enjoy spending time with the hunk -- but now he's returned home it appears Bosworth and Shackleton are an item again.
An insider tells Australian Web site Entertainment.news.com.au, "They meet for lunch every day and are often all over each other. It's commonly assumed that they are in a relationship."
However, Bloom's sister Samantha says her brother is still dating the blonde beauty, and is only "friends" with Miller.
Samantha says, "They've been together for two years and they are still very much together.
"Of course they (Sienna and Orlando) kissed -- they are friends and he always kisses his friends."
Bosworth and Bloom enjoyed a trans-Atlantic romance for two years before splitting earlier this year to concentrate on their careers.

Hollywood stars Orlando Bloom and Kate Bosworth have sparked rumours they have become engaged to be married, after perusing London's top jewellers this weekend (18-19DEC05).
The Kingdom Of Heaven actor, 28, has enjoyed an on/off relationship with the 22-year-old beauty since January 2003, after they met filming an advertisement for US clothing giant Gap.
An onlooker tells The Sun, "They were picking out engagement rings and she was trying them on. They popped into lots of flash jewellers on New Bond Street. But they were in Bulgari and Van Cleef + Arpels for the longest period.
"They had huge smiles on their faces and were kissing and cuddling."
In September (05) Bloom denied engagement rumours but hinted he would soon be ready for marriage, saying: "None of that stuff is ever true. But that doesn't mean I don't love someone and that I'm not going to get engaged one day."
