It seems that along with divorcing Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman also divorced the Church of Scientology. Church members haven't seen the Oscar-winning mama in quite some time. "Actually, when I knew Nicole, she seemed to think there was nothing better than Scientology," said Kelly Preston, wife of John Travolta. The couple is among the higher-profile Hollywood Scientologists. But since her 2001 split from Cruise, who is still rather active in the church, Nicole doesn't even hang out with other Scientologists, much less participate. Kidman came from a devout Catholic family and put stress on her family relationship when she announced that she was converting to Scientology.

Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman To Reunite On TV
Next season is the last for "Friends," and they plan on ending with lots of huge guest stars. Now we have learned that Tom Cruise has reportedly agreed to reunite with his ex-wife Nicole on an episode for November sweeps! His big movie comes out December 5th so he could use the publicity after a long break. Nicole's movie opens Christmas Day. And as part of their deal, the guest appearances will be filmed seperately on two different days... so even though they will seem to be in the same scene, they will never see each other in person.
Nicole Kidman has poured her heart out about her divorce and the miscarriage that left her depressed and desperate.
In an exclusive interview with Britain's Marie Claire magazine, the Aussie actress reveals her messy marriage split from Tom Cruise sparked four terrible weeks she hopes she never has to go through again.
She says, "My whole life fell apart. It was the loneliest time. I used to shake constantly and think, 'God, I'm all alone.'
"Over a period of four weeks so many awful things happened to me: I lost a baby. I stopped, looked at what was happening and realized that life had brought me to my knees."
Actor Tom Cruise has publically embarrassed girlfriend Penelope Cruz by spectacularly declaring he "always will" love ex-wife Nicole Kidman.
American broadcaster Katie Couric chatted to Cruise over a sushi picnic in Los Angeles' Will Rogers State Park for an upcoming "Dateline" news special, and the journalist was left convinced his feelings for the actress were "genuine."
In the candid conversation to be broadcast tomorrow, Cruise reveals, "I've always loved Nic and I always will," after which Couric concludes, "He seemed genuine in his hope that she'd find happiness in the future."
In the interview, the movie hunk also credits his ex-wife with being a great mum to their two adopted kids.
He adds, "They have a great life. I wanna be my kids."
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise is still reluctant to set up home with his Spanish girlfriend Penelope Cruz -- even though they have been dating for two years.
The hunky actor, 41 -- who split from wife of 10 years Nicole Kidman in 2000 -- started dating Cruz after meeting her on the set of 2001 Cameron Crowe film "Vanilla Sky," but he is still clinging onto his bachelor lifestyle.
Cruise is currently living with his sister Lee Anne, and says, "If I could have all my family living with me all the time I would. I'd like that -- we're very close."
Screen beauty Nicole Kidman will always maintain her friendship with ex-husband Tom Cruise, because the pair spent so many important years together.
But Oscar-winning Nicole -- who has two adopted children with the superstar -- says he will never be the most important person in her life again following their shock split in 2001.
Nicole says, "The other day I said to him, 'We spent 11 years together', and he said, '12'. And so, to walk away from that, and to deny it was the most important thing in my life to date, would be ridiculous.
"So I suppose I'm going to cherish and remember these things, and this person can still be in my life, though he will never be the most important person."
Nicole Kidman has made it public at the premiere of her new film, "Cold Mountain" that she's less than pleased with Tom Cruise's loose tongue.
The Aussie actress declared she was far from happy with her ex-husband's candid interview with CNN talk show host Larry King, in which he revealed Kidman was dating rocker Lenny Kravitz.
And, when asked about the romance at her Friday night premiere, she insisted the relationship isn't supposed to be public knowledge.
She said, "I don't talk about it. I wish he didn't, but he does."
DID NICOLE DUMP LENNY IN HOPE OF A CRUISE REUNION?
Movie superstar Nicole Kidman reportedly dumped lover Lenny Kravitz when ex-husband Tom Cruise became single again -- hoping they could rekindle their famous marriage.
According to British newspaper the News of the World, the Oscar-winning actress still hankers after Cruise, and was given fresh hope when he split from Penelope Cruz in January.
And according to an unnamed relative, who reportedly talked to the paper, Kravitz became another casualty of Cruise's famous charisma when his ex-wife decided to cool things with Lenny in a bid to win him back.
The source explains, "Nicole refused to commit to the relationship because she was sure Tom would come back to her.
"Lenny was madly in love and wanted to get married. He's a marrying kind of guy -- he was married to Lisa Bonet for six years and wanted to do it again. He thought they could combine their families.
"Lenny's a confident guy and was sure that if he was patient he could make Nicole forget all about Tom. But nothing has swayed her -- she couldn't seem to get Tom off her mind."
However, according to the mystery relative, Kravitz still hopes to build a future with the beauty.
The source adds, "He's hoping that as time passes she will put the pain of divorce behind her and he'll have a chance to start over again.
"Perhaps things will develop the way he would like them to."
Kidman and Cruise called time on their 11-year marriage in 2001, stunning the world who thought they were one of Hollywood's most stable pairings.
I always thought Tom and Nicole worked so well together and I always kind of thought they woudl get back together. You never know, now that Penelope is out of the picture, they still might work things out. Wouldn't that be sweet? Awwww.
Dammit, I read this thread from the beginning thinking it was new! I didn't even know they were ever together. I just scanned over their whole relationship. I didn't even have a chance to ride the emotional rollercoaster wtih them. Sigh.
Bless Nicole Kidman, she's finally revealed just how painful her split from Tom Cruise really was. The Hollywood star said that she actually didn't get dressed for months after the divorce.
Nic admitted that she felt lonely and isolated: "I didn't get out of my pyjamas for several months. I didn't want to do my hair. I was like, 'Who cares?' For months, I drove the children to school in my pyjamas, I'd cook porridge in my pyjamas. I just didn't feel like getting dressed."
She also hinted that her decision to make Moulin Rouge might have contributed to her ten-year marriage ending. It was the first time that she and Tom had been away from each other for more than two weeks.
But despite everything, Nicole, who has two adopted children, Connor, 10, and Bella, 12, is still keen to settle down and have more kids: "I'd love to have more children. I'd like to give birth," she said.
