Following the huge and unexpected success of Britney Spears’ perfume, Curious, the Olsen twins are launching a set of fragrances for their fans and fashion followers: Coast to Coast NY and Coast to Coast LA.
Designed to represent the twins’ bicoastal lifestyle, the scents hit stores this spring. The accompanying ad campaign, styled by YM’s erstwhile fashion team – including recently named Abercrombie + Fitch style director Elizabeth Kiester – feature the twins in casual off-the-shoulder tops and long, dangly earrings. Beyonce, Jessica Simpson, and Scarlett Johannson also have fragrance deals, but unlike the Olsens’ clean approach, those starlets’ ads featured major skin.
As for the perfume itself, Coast to Coast NY boasts an energizing citrus scent, and Coast to Coast LA has a floral, tropical feel. Smells like another winner for M-K and A.
