| Foxy Brown First To Be Signed By Jay-Z

Jay-Z has made his first official signing since taking over a president of Def Jam Records. Foxy Brown, who was once rumoured to be signing with Jay’s planned S. Carter label, has become the first signing since Def Jam has been in control of the Jigga man.
Foxy Brown was originally signed to Def Jam and released two albums with them, but left after the release of "Ill Nana 2 : The Fever". Fox is said to have already been recording new material for an album currently titled "Black Roses".
Jay is also set to release projects from 112, Mariah Carey and Memphis Bleek in the near future.
