SIMPSON HORRIFIED BY STREEP'S REBUFF

Pop beauty Jessica Simpson is devastated her "favorite actress" Meryl Streep doesn't know who she is.

The singer and star of the reality show "The Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" approached the Oscar-winning actress at a gas station to compliment her on her impressive movie career, but was horrified when Streep asked her who she was.

The actress told Simpson, "But I'm sure my kids know who you are."

I am actually surprised that Jessica knows who Meryl Streep is, let alone says she is her favourite actress. I barely know who Meryl is and I am older than Jessica. Wierd.
