Beyonce Knowles' father is devastated his daughter is dating Jay-Z and refuses to talk to the rapper.
The star's manager and dad Matthew is disappointed that she is dating a man who is 11 years her senior and famously made a living as a drug dealer before entering the music industry, reports Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.
He says, "I don't care for him [Jay-Z] at all. No, I'm not close to him. He is not somebody I like to spend time with."

I guess age doesn't matter though if you're happy and those two seems quite hapyw ith eachother. The National Enquirer reports Destiny's Child star Beyonce Knowles has been in a difficult situation with her father Matthew and fiance Jay-Z battling to manage her career. Matthew wants the status quo while Jay wants Beyonce to be "a little edgier."
A friend said, "Obviously, this leaves Beyonce in a very uncomfortable position with her father and fiance feuding over who will manage her career. Beyonce has been seen in tears, trying to figure out how to solve this problem without hurting her father or losing the man she loves."
