[Hollywood News]: New York, Nov 11 : Despite her controversial dare-bare 'nipplegate' act, pop star Janet Jackson has been chosen as this year's African-American role model.
The singer will be honoured by 100 Black Men, an organisation which works for improving the living status of Afro-Americans and other minorities.
"An individual's worth can't be judged by a single moment in that person's life.I hope we don't have any surprises!," 100 Black Men president Paul Williams was quoted by the New York Daily News,as saying.(ANI)
