| Backstreet Boys reunite for charity concert

The Back Street Boys did something they haven't done in a long time this weekend -- coming together in public to perform. The famed group reunited on stage in a charity event to honour the heroes of 9/11. It was the first time the group has performed together in three years.
Top celebrities and athletes, including Jessica Simpson, Howie Long and a long list of stars walked the red, white and blue carpet and to attend a special benefit concert honouring heroes from the 9/11 tragedy. The event, was held on the historic Queen Mary in Long Island, California.
"It's great, this is our first public performance in three years and I am so honoured to have the guys grace me with their presence in my foundation, in my fundraiser out here on the Queen Mary," said Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough. Dorough's sister died of Lupus in 1998 and a foundation was established in her name to raise money for research and to provide financial assistance to individuals living with the disease.
Proceeds from concert will also benefit several other charities including 9/11 for Kids.
