New Clay Story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if you guys want to start another Clay story, but I will start one, and if you don't like it, just please don't add on, I won't get upset if you don't want to do this, but I thought that I would try. Thanks. Love you all tons.

One day Clay didn't have anything to do, so he decided to go to a Kelly Clarkson concert, so he bought a last minute ticket, and since he and Kelly were on "Close Terms" he also got a backstage pass. So Clay got ready and went to the concert..........

I'll add on......

Clay was hanging out backstage when Kelly's tour manger came up to him.
"Clay," he said. "Glad to see you again. I thought after the Indepent show, you and Kelly would never sing together onstage again."
"I am not here to sing tonight. I am just here for Kelly as a friend." said clay.
"Oh well Kelly needs someone to sing, 'Because of You' with. Normally we pick someone before the show from the crowd but since we were in Raleigh...well we forgot."
"You want me to do it?"
"Yea....it's her 2nd to last song. She sings most of it...and then near the end, you get a mic and just sing along the last chorus with her?"
"Ok. If it alright with Kelly. She doesn't know I am here."
"She should be fine with it. Thanks." the guy hugged Clay and left....

"Kelly," said her tour manger. She was getting changed real fast before running back onstage to start, "Because of you"
"Yea." she yelled out of her changing room.
"We got you someone special to do the song with. He is already out on stage."
"Ok."

Kelly began the song but she didn't see the guy yet. He would be seated in the back and the spotlight doesn't go on him until she got to the first chorus.
As she gets there, she sees who she is singing too. It was Clay Aiken. She hadn't seen him since they had tour together the year before.
"Clay," she said low, when she pulled the mic away from her month in the middle of the song.
"I came and your tour manger told me to come out here and sing with you." He said. Kelly handed him a mic.
They finished the song. Kelly hugged Clay and the fans cheered loud. Clay said hi to the crowd and waved and then turned to Kelly. "I'll wait backstage." and left the stage...

After the show was over, Kelly came back stage again to talk to Clay. She was wipped, but when she saw Clay, she eagerly cheered up again. She said, "Clay I was hoping that while I was here I would have time to come see you, it's been sooo long since the last time I saw you. You look great."
Clay replied, "It was a blast, you and me singing onstage together again. I seems like I haven't sung in forever, and that was a great welcome back."
Then Kelly got a REALLY weird look no her face and, while trying to remain calm said, "Clay, I think I have something that we need to talk about."
Clay then got a sudden urge of panickness. (is that a word)

Hey, I have something that I could have Kelly say, but that would involve Kelly and Clay going out. Would you guys like that? YES OR NO

it would be panic, not panickness, not trying to sound smart or anything, just thought i'd let you know.




I wouldnt mind the 2 of them dating previously or currently. but that's just me

Then Clay said, "Is everything alright?"
Kelly responded, "Clay, I don't know why, but I think..........."
"What is it Kelly?"
"Well its just that I think that I have a....... ummm..... oh alright.... Clay, I think I have a crush on you"
They both stood there shocked for a few minutes, and then Clay studdered, "Maybe we should go somewhere for dinner together."
So they left and went on their way..............

LOL! i wonder where this will end up? well, i'll just wait and see

Luckily, there was a back entrance to the arena that Clay and Kelly could escape out of. They didn't want to be seen leaving together because they knew fans (and tabloids) would go crazy. Clay told Kelly that he could drive, since his car was already there. They drove to a fancy restaurant but they were all booked and there was no room for the 2 of them. Kelly was really disappointed. SHe felt that if only she could spend more time with clay, she'd stop feeling so nervous and confused. Right whne she was about to give up and tell him that he could just drive her back to her tour bus, Clay said "Hey! I have an idea." He pulled up to a McDonalds. "Clay, are you serious?"
"Come on Kelly, don't u love fast food? How could anyone not!!" she smiled at this and said sure. So they went in, ordered 2 big mac meals and sat down in a booth. luckily, it was late and there were only a few people in the restaurant. no one really seemed to pay attention to them.
"MMMM..." Kelly said.
"See?" said Clay, "i knew you'd like it" he threw a fry at her, and she screamed.
"what? scared of fries now? you never used to be!!" clay teased. kelly smiled and laughed at him, feeling still a little nervous but a lot better than before.

Kelly smiled, but looked to the playground. They was no kids on it and she rememeberd what her and Clay used to do when they were on tour together.
Clay saw her looking. "You want to?" He asked.
"It could be fun." said Kelly.
Clay got up and held his hand out for Kelly but she got up on her own and smiled at him but took off for the play area. He moved after her. They laughed as they jumped into the balls play area.
"I miss going on tour with someone." Said Kelly, threwing a ball at Clay.
"Yea our tour was fun." Said Clay, threwing the ball back at Kelly.
Kelly went to stand up in the balls but fell. Clay put out his hand to help her and as she took it and tried to stand up again...she fell. This time, she fell onto Clay.
She smiled at him and they just kind of sat there for a moment. Looking into each others eyes and wondering what to do? Then Kelly, knowing that this wasn't the moment to kiss Clay, said "Man the food must be getting cold."
"Yea." Said clay kind of let down.
They both get out of the play area and walked back over to the table and sat down.

After Clay and Kelly got back to their seats, Kelly's cell rang.
"Hello?.... aww, are you serious?.... well i'm out with Clay right now.... fine. see you soon..... bye" Kelly hung up the phone and looked sad. "That was my manager. I have to go, the tour bus has to leave early tonight."
Clay drove Kelly back to her bus. Before she got out she said, "Clay, would it be ok if i called you sometime? I've missed you." Clay was so happy she said this.
"Of course!" he said. she looked happy to hear this, then she got out of clay's car and went on to her bus.

Clay drove home smiling the whole time. He wasn't sure what it was... Did he like Kelly??

The next day, Clay decided to show up at Kelly's next concert, which was in South Carolina. He drove there and luckily managed to bribe the arena people into giving him floor seats. He stood there in anticipation as kelly walked on to the stage. At first, she didn't see him. He looked up at her, she was so beautiful. He wondered if she'd notice him in the crowd.

Finally, during her 5th song, Kelly looked down into the 7th row, right where Clay was standing.
She froze. Luckily, it was only during a guitar solo and she wasn't singing. She was staring at Clay, standing stiff as a board on the stage, holding her mic as though she was about to drop it.

And she did. The mic fell out of her hand right as her cue to start singing came in. She picked up the fallen mic and then was only a few words late coming into the song... but she looked really embarrassed. After the song was over, Kelly said "You guys i'm really sorry about that, i don't know what came over me!" as she said it, she tried her hardest to avoid meeting Clay's eyes. she didn't want to be even more embarrassed.
Kelly then walked over to her band and talked to them for a minute or so... the fans were all wondering what was happening... but then kelly said "ok guys... i just made a last minute change to the program... and i've got a special song to sing to everyone. I hope you all know it, it's an old favorite of mine."

She sang A Moment Like This and sang the entire thing while looking at Clay.

After the song, Kelly, who still had 2 more songs to go, turned to her band. She wanted to end the show sooner then later. She wanted to get done, so she could go talk to Clay.
"can we loop the two songs together?" asked Kelly.
"But Kel, don't you still have to bring someone on stage with you to sing 'Because of you'?" asked her guitar player.
"Yea, but we can cut that tonight. Not like everyone here is waiting for it." Said Kelly, turning back to the crowd. "Or I can end with 'Because of You' and not do 'Miss Independent'."
"That's a good plan." says the same guiter player.

Kelly walked back to the middle of the stage. "Everynight for my last number, I pick someone to come onstage and sing with me." She turned to where her stage manger would sent the person onstage. Tonight it was a 15 year old boy.

Clay smiled to himself as Kelly sung with the boy. He liked Kelly, he really did. He had to do something about it, or else she would have to keep moving on with the tour and he would just have to keep following her everywhere.

"Kelly wants you backstage." said a bodyguard to Clay. Clay walked with him backstage and waited in her dressing room for her. He looked at all the gifts and pictures that fans had given her that day at the meet & greet. He laughed at some of them.

"Clay." said Kelly coming into the room.
"Hey Kelly," said Clay turning to find her in the doorway.
"What are you doing here?" asked Kelly walking in and taking off her back mic set and her ear pieces.
"I got bored in Raleigh and wanted to drive down and see you."
"Drive 4 hours to see me or did you just want some Mcdonald agains." She laughed a little.
"No, I wanted to...." he stopped not knowing what to say next. "To see your whole show. When you were in Raleigh, I didn't get to see all of it."
"Oh well, you picked a bad night if you wanted to hang out. I have to be on the bus in moments to leave. My next show is in Orlando and I have to be there by 11 AM." She said sitting down.
"Oh." said Clay. He knew that if she left, he wouldn't be able to see her again. He knew he couldn't drive there by tomorrow night to see her again.
"Yea, I have some big thing to do there with some other female singers." She said. "What are you doing after tonight?"
"Going back to Raleigh, I guess." He looked at Kelly, who was leaning over in her chair, changing her shoes. "What if I went with you?"
"What do you mean fellowing behind in a car?"
"No, what if I rode your tour bus with you to Flordia and then see where it goes after that. I have nothing to do and you said you miss touring with someone."
"Really," Kelly said getting up. She wanted to, and she knew he wanted to...but....could they? Just then her tour manger can busting through the door.
"Is everyone dressed?" he asked as he came in with his eyes closed.
"Yes." said Kelly.
"Ok then why are you not on the bus yet?" Opening his eyes.
"I was talking to Clay here. Do you think maybe he can come to Flordia with us?" She smiled, hoping to get her way.
The tour manger looked Clay up and down. "Sure, I don't see why not." and he left.
"So I guess you get to come." She said smiling at clay. She couldn't stop smiling.
"I gotta make a call to my mom to come get my car, and then I'll see you on the bus."
"Ok" said Kelly leaving.

"Mom, I am going to Flordia but I need someone to come get my car."
"What is in Orlando?"
"I'm going with Kelly."
"Not that girl again." Clay's mom, hadn't been Kelly's biggest fan when Clay and Kelly had gone on tour together.
"Mom, she just wants a friend to go to Orlando with her."
"ok, I'll have Jeff come get your car tomorrow."
"thanks Love you." he said hanging up.

He smiled as he headed off for the bus.

That is really good! Sorry, no I was at school, but my teacher said we could do anything if we were done with our projects, so I came here.

The bus looked just as it had when Kelly and Clay had gone on tour the first time. Kelly and Clay both went in and sat on the comfy leather couch in the back part of the bus.
Kelly asked, "So do you think that we should talk about what we are feeling?"
Clay nevously replied, "Well only if you think we should, because honestly I'm really confused about my emotions right now."
Kelly started, "Well when we went on tour together I thought you were a great guy, but as the tour progressed I started to really like you."
Clay agreed, "Yea, I thought you were awesome when we went on tour together!"

Kelly rolled her shoulders back. "Clay, the other night when we were in the balls at Mcdonalds I wanted to kiss you. I had also wanted to kiss you when our tour ended but I was scared too."
Clay listen to Kelly for a moment. He looked at how scared and nevous she looked. Then without thinking...he leaned over and kissed her. It was a fast kiss but a kiss none the less.
"Humm....Humm." said Kelly, getting up.
"I'm sorry Kelly."
"Oh I.....Humm...gotta go take a shower..."Kelly took off to the back of the bus.

Kelly had stayed in the bathroom for a long time and Clay went ahead and got in a bruck (these little beds on the bus). He thought if he wasn't out there then Kelly would finally come out of the bathroom. The bus ride was smooth. He wished he hadn't kissed her. Was it a good thing? Was it a bad thing? Just then he heard the bathroom door open and Kelly walked out. She looked and didn't see Clay, so she went back to the couch. She called her brother on her cell phone.
"Jason, I have to tell you something." said Kelly.
"Do you need me to come to your bus?" asked Jason, who was riding on the bus right behind her's.
"No. Remember I told you Clay was coming on the bus tonight."
"Yes and that you liked him and wanted to make more then a friendship..."
"Yes. He kissed me."
"He kissed you....you didn't kiss him first."
"No, I wanted to the other night remember? Tonight we were talking about how we felt and he kissed me."
"Where is he now?"
"I guess in bed."
"I don't know what you want me to tell you. Did you kiss him back?"
"Yes."
"Then tomorrow tell him you liked it."
"What if he didn't?"
"Kel, hunny...he kissed you first which means that unless you heard the bus stop and him get off.....everything is alright. Just tell him tomorrow that you liked the kiss and that your happy with him and the kiss.Ok?"
"OK."
"Ok I love you kelly."
"love you Jason." She hung up and got in bed. She looked at her pictures she had taped to her wall. She had one of Clay, with his dog, Raleigh. It was from their last show on tour together. She liked him and the kiss. It would all work out in the morning, she told herself as she feel asleep.

Clay still laid awake. Unsure of what to do or say tomorrow. He knew Kelly was waiting for something tomorrow. Had the kiss been right? What if not? These are the questions he thought as he started to fall asleep....
