Rowe to Sell Wedding Ring on E-bay |

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe reportedly is selling her wedding ring on auction site eBay.
Rowe plans to hold the Internet auction when the troubled superstar stands trial over child abuse allegations -- in a bid to exacerbate his stress as she fights a custody battle over access to their children, Prince Michael, 7, and Paris, 6.
Jackson bought Rowe the 2.13-carat round-cut diamond in Sydney, Australia, and gave it to her on the day before their three-year marriage began on November 13, 1996.
Gossip columnist Roger Friedman writes, "The decision to sell the ring came as Rowe's expenses continue to rise."

| Posted by: schmiggens | | That would be an awesome peice of memorabilia to have. I wonder how much it cost when they bought it? I wonder how much she'll get for it?
There was another report that said she needed the money because she bought a property with 12 horses on it and needs to buy horse food. They said it wasn't to do with legal fees from the custody case. Who knows? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | But divorced women sell their wedding and engagement rings at pawn-shops all the time when they need to raise some extra cash.
Do you disapprove of this because she's cashing in on Michael's name, or because she's doing it on e-bay? Why? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: nikiTa | | It just shows that the "marriage" has always been a business venture for her....selling the ring doesn't surprise me in the least. Selling off her progeny....I find that reprehensible....IMHO | | Reply To this Message

Absolutely! It was pretty obvious to anyone that the marriage was a sham and nothing more than a baby business arrangement, despite that they tried to tell otherwise.
I traded my engagement ring for a guitar at a pawn shop. My ex was abusive and all around just a general d*ckwad. I'm still learning on the guitar and I no longer have that piece of crappy jewelry to remind me of him. MJ's ex doesn't seem to be looking to rid herself of the ring for closure reasons... it's purely financial. |

The intention in which it was given? Payment for having two kids you don't care about and leaving with them a lunatic? Where you gonna find someone who appreciates that?
