Kim Cattrall New Book: The Art Of The Female Orgasm

KIM CATTRALL felt compelled to write a book about intimacy to demystify sex for women - and urge them not to panic of their partners are struggling to arouse them.

The former SEX AND THE CITY actress, 48, teamed up with her then-husband MARK LEVINSON on SATISFACTION: THE ART OF THE FEMALE ORGASM to inform others she didn't develop a strong sex drive until she reached her forties.

Cattrall says, "Up until then I thought I wasn't a very sexual woman, although everyone assumed I was getting it in spades. I wanted to write the book because something had changed for me. I thought, 'My goodness, if that's my story, there must be lots of other women.'"

hahaha nice story, but it's basically because she was a horny chick on Sex and the City, so people expect that she knows something about it... despite the fact Samantha wasn't real. People'll fall for it though

I know, that's what I was thinking.

But it seems legitmate if she had troubles and got over them, then she at least has some real insight to offer on the subject.

Sex and the City star plans to start sleeping around!

'Sex and the City' star Kim Cattrall has revealed she is planning to copy her screen character and start sleeping around.

The beautiful actress - who played man-eater Samantha Jones in the hit US show - admits she wants to make the most of her single life after splitting from her third husband two years ago by dating a string of men.

She said: "In my twenties and thirties I was a serial monogamist. Now I'm going to swing."

The 48-year-old star - who is dating a Canadian chef 21 years her junior - also admits she is far more attracted to younger men as they are able to handle her wild bedroom antics. She added: "Sex is about opening yourself to someone else. Younger men are less frightening and less tentative."

Meanwhile, Kim has confessed she dances naked in her living room every night. The actress says she strips off and gyrates in her rented London home to celebrate the fact she can move after lying in bed all day in her new West End show.

Kim - who plays a quadriplegic in 'Whose Life Is It Anyway' - revealed to Britain's Sunday Times Culture magazine: "I put the stereo on. I take off my clothes and I dance naked, because I am so happy that I can move."

CATTRALL WRITES NEW SEX MANUAL

Kim Cattrall has been spurred on by the phenomenal success of her book "Satisfaction -- The Art of the Female Orgasm" to work on a new sex-help tome.

The sultry 48-year-old, who recently starred in "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" on London's West End, will be further encouraging women to "release their inner sexpot" in "Sexual Intelligence," but her new sex bible will be more classically inspired -- boasting erotic artwork instead of racy photographs.

The project will be completed without the assistance of her ex-husband Mark Levinson, who co-wrote "Satisfaction" with the former "Sex and the City" star before the pair divorced in 2003.
