New years resolutions? Plans? |
| Posted by: Sayzak | | As for resolutions... hmmm... last year my resolution was to gain 10 or 15 lbs... I didn't gain any weight at all. I still weigh about 130. I wanted to get above 140 and stay there. It's tough being so thin... I could eat a cake every single day and with my metabolism all it would do is form some flab on my belly and take my muscle tone away. So I tried the whole working out thing, but I kept getting inturupted by a lack of funds, time, or being injured somewhere. It's surprising how expensive gaining muscle is for someone like me. I figured if I ever wanted to gain muscle and for it to be cost effective I should get a labor style job or join the army. I now work at UPS... it's a perfect job if you want to gain muscle, but I'm already injured! (pulled bicept).
My new years resolution this year... hmmm... I'm going to think of something realistic... Ah! I'm going to move out! And start taking voice lessons (if I can in any way afford it) or at least join a softball team. Something to distract me from the two-jobs and fulltime homework schedule I have coming. And... I'll gain 10 lbs. No, for real this time.
When the ball drops I will be at a party... yeah, I'm not really a partier, but... just this once. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Sayzak, just be ready for a lifetime of trying to gain weight. Mr. F. has been trying his whole life. He just stays thin. If he finds the secret, we will pass it on to you. I promise.
My resolutions. I want to reclaim my health. This last year really sucked. My car accident really set off my migraines. I hope to get them under control, and I hope to lose the rest of the weight I want to lose. On a business front, I hope to exceed my sales at the craft fair I do this year. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: chodder | | Resolution, eh? Well lets see....... to have a more exciting life I guess. I'm not even going to a party tonight..... I have to work..... which blows.... yea...
It seems the older I got the more distant I got with my friends. I have not even been drinking with them or gone to parties. Sitting in a room full of people getting smashed of stoned just isn't me.
Ha! You think you need to gain weight. I'm a senior in High School and i'm like 5"8 @ 115lbs | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: HECK! | | My resolution is to actually go through with one of my unresolved resolutions from year's past. I usually make good on a resolution every few years. Next on my list, prepare for the year 2000 switch.

| Posted by: HECK! | | I wonder what the percentage of people's resolutions include: dieting, quitting smoking/drinking, starting a new career, etc.

| Posted by: shortyboogs | | Anyone have any predictions for 2005? For some reason, I'm having a good feeling for this year.
I think the employment rate will increase, the economy will grow, and the world will begin recovering from past damages. | | Reply To this Message
