Is Human Torch played by the guy who starred in Not Another Teen Movie?

I don't like the look of The Thing in the pics. Looks like his left arm is broken just above the wrist... And his brow is all wrong...

- true, i didnt notice the arm, lol. the brow is supposed to be like that i think? the human torch played in cellular, im not sure if her was in not another teen movie, ill check on it, bit tired, lol!

Yeah, that's the same guy that played in NATM. Cellular was his next big movie leading role.

and Thing's brow is supposed to be more squared off, like a vertical slab above his eyes. Unless I'm confusing Thing with some other hero...

Yeah, I agree about the Thing's brow.... And his head is shaped too much like a human head... kind of high... I think...

Dr. Doom looks like crap

I read somewhere that the movie plot has Doom's skin turn into that armor. In the comics he wears that suit because he's disfigured. Lame.

BTW- did anyone see that crappy Fantastic Four movie that was filmed but never released a few years ago? It's comedy.

i think doom looks cool. yeah heck that skin thing with doom is a rumor, not sure if its gonna work out like that or not. i havnt seen the old fantastic four movie, but i want to. this onewill def. be better, like the batman begins movie should be better than batman 3-4. i dunno what they were thinking by making 3-4 and i dun know what they were thinking making that fantastic four flick also, lol.

I thought Doom looked close enough to the original comic character, although I never really liked comic Doom's look either...

Thing just looks WRONG!

I'm getting REALLY skeptical... If Fox wastes my time on this.................

Well, I see all my movies for free so it dun matter to me if they suck cus I know I didn't pay for it. It just hurts me on the inside because all these crappy remakes and sequals are coming out.

I went to see it today ... it was good, i hadn't read the comic so couldn't compare, but i liked it ... it had good action scenes ...

At the end it gave the potential for a sequal ... The tourch was good ... i liked "super nover" ... and when The tourch and Invisible girl went skiing and snow boarding near the beginning that was funny.

I read the comic growing up and only saw a lot of lost potential in this movie. The FF spent more time fighting each other than against Dr. Doom. And up until the last battle at the end, they really didn't do much at all. Story seemed rushed. Dialogue was weak. Special effects were dope, but that's not too hard these days. I would see a sequel, but they need to get this right.

But they dont need to introduce the characters in the sequal, so it would be more energetic from the beginning.

True, sequels to super hero movies are always better by virtue of the fact they don't need to waste time with the origin again.

They just need a better script is all.

Well Batman begins (The origins essentually), i think is better than the others

True. But you knew going in that Begins was all about his origin. Could have used more Batman though.

Wow. I'm an idiot. Got my vertical and horizontal mixed up.

The slab is supposed to be 'horizontal', not vertical. What was I on that day?
