COULD there be a new R&B-flavoured romance on the cards? Spies tell us hip-hop supremo Kanye West was getting friendly with Alicia Keys at a recent bash.

West, 27, whose debut album College Dropout has made him the darling of this year's awards ceremonies, was spotted getting friendly with Keys at a New York party thrown by EMI Music's publishing division.

Anonymous writes "Sunday (April 3) was the last day of 3 shows Alicia Keys had in Chicago for her Diary tour. When John Legend performed his song 'Number One', he usually skips over the rap and goes straight to his next verse, but on Sunday, to all of our suprise, Kanye West came out and did his rap in the song.

After they finished doing that song they did a little bit of the song 'Selfish' together. It was great, and everybody was going crazy because we were so suprised! John Legend is amazing in concert!"
