| J.LO'S PAYCUT TO 'PROVE' HERSELF
Superstar Jennifer Lopez took a huge paycut to star in forthcoming drama, "An Unfinished Life," after a string of flop films reduced her asking price.
J.Lo's breakout films "Selena" and "Out of Sight" in the late 1990s received critical praise, but her movies over the past four years have failed to wow film critics.
Her salary rose to $12 million for her role in the ill-fated crime caper "Gigli," opposite her former fiance Ben Affleck, but after a row of box-office misses with "Angel Eyes," "Enough" and "Jersey Girl," Lopez is not in such hot demand.
A source from her latest movie, "An Unfinished Life," tells the New York Daily News Lopez accepted the modest $4 million because "she felt the role would prove she could act."
