Neighbours Return?

Kylie has said no to a Neighbours return to mark the show's 20th anniversary next year. Bosses had hoped the singer and actress, who made her name in the show playing Charlene, would say yes to a small cameo, but she claims to be too busy.

That would be so cool if she came back. Although it woudl be hard to writer her back in. Her character's mother died and Kylie didn't come back for that. What could they make more important than that, that would warrant Charlene returning? I can't think of anything.

Kylie to miss the reunion

AS super-soap Neighbours celebrates turning the big two-oh, former Ramsay St residents have come flooding back to appear on a reunion special and enjoy a slice or two of birthday cake.

One notable absentee, though, has been the series' most successful export Kylie Minogue who, according to her "people", was willing to film a tribute for the anniversary in London but was turned down.

"With my tour, I could only have done it if they filmed it in the UK. But they declined. It's a big shame," La Minogue told website ContactMusic.com.

Not so, according to Grundy Television, who say they tried everything to have Minogue involved.

This is so cool, even if Kylie can't come, so many stars are coming back for the anniversary, it's going to be awesome
