POA DVD-what did you think?

POA was released on DVD this week. What did you think? Did you like the deleted scenes? Did you like the extras?

I thought they should have put the scene in with McGonagall in the common room after Sirius had been in the dorm. That was a great scene. I also liked the one when they are in the dining hall and the kids are eating their candy.

Is it just me or does it bug anyone else that A.C. the director can not say Hogwarts? It sounds like "ho wars".

I never got to see this movie in theatres, so I bought the dvd the day it came out. Watched it 3 times so far
I really like this movie, better then the first two. And I just loved Sirius, very cool. And the dementors...they were awesome.
All the deleted scenes were alright, but I didn't think any of them were too great.

I just thought it added to the movie to have the part about Sirius getting into Harry's room.

I saw POA two times at the movies and we watched it on DVD last night. My son was so happy to see it. He used his

They did an awesome job on Buckbeack, I had to look twice before I realized that he wasn't real.

Yep. They make them. He thought they were cool looking. You need bad guys for your Heroes to beat up on now don't you.

Buckbeak was awesome. My favorite part of the movie is when Harry is riding on him over the lake. That, and it is sooo like Hagrid to just put Harry on him and send them off into the sky.

I liked that part as well, just loved how Hagrid just threw him on his back without Harry having a word. Though I didn't like the whole 'King of the World' pose...Reminded me just a little bit too much of Titanic

The official DVD comes out here next month (only a week or so away), so I can give my opinon then. They actually have the DVD for rent at blockbusters, and they're selling it. But it's a single disc version, which they're selling at the same price as if it were 2 discs... I hope no one falls for it..........
