Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are in the headlines again after an attack on paparazzi was caught on camera.
In photos, which are due to appear in this week's US Weekly, the angry couple are seen snapping at photographers trying to get their picture.
One photographer caught up in the Saturday night scuffle claims Diaz was so upset she charged at him.
He says, "She tried to take me down. Then she took my camera."
Another tried to get the shots of Diaz enraged: "I was trying to get the pictures and Justin jumped in front of me to block the shots so there would be no evidence."
Both photographers have reportedly filed a police report after the incident.
An attorney for Diaz and Timberlake claim the pair were acting in self-defense after they were "accosted" by the snappers.

Rumours that Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are on the verge of splitting have been quashed after the pair pounced on photographers who tried to snap their picture outside an LA nightclub. Diaz reportedly snatched the camera as Timberlake jumped in to block her picture being taken.

Two Photographers Sue Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Claiming Couple Attacked Them Outside Hotel
LOS ANGELES Nov 13, 2004 — Two photographers sued Cameron Diaz and her boyfriend Justin Timberlake for assault and battery, claiming the celebrity couple taunted and attacked them outside a fancy hotel.
Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez said the "Charlie's Angels" star and the pop singer threatened them as they tried to photograph the couple near the famed Chateau Marmont on Nov. 6.
The lawsuit filed Friday said the photographers, on assignment for a photo agency, did nothing to harass the couple and stood more than 10 feet from them until Diaz ran at Lazo, hit him in the neck and tripped him, snatching his camera.
Timberlake then allegedly screamed at the bleeding photographer as he was on the ground: "What … are you going to do, man? I know you are not going to do anything."
Lazo responded to Timberlake by saying he was simply trying to do his job, according to the suit.
A representative for the couple said he could not immediately comment on the suit, but said in a previous statement they were "ambushed by two men" on a dark street and acted only in self-defense.
Diaz kept Lazo's camera, later turning it in to police. According to the suit, she also tried to grab the other camera after pushing Gonzalez, who ran away along with Lazo as Timberlake called after them, "Come and fight, you chickens."
The photographers claim they suffered emotional distress and physical harm and request unspecified general, special and punitive damages, as well as attorney's fees.

Us Weekly reports that Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz's dust-up with the paparazzi, which has since resulted in a lawsuit, "may push Timberlake to finally end their 17-month relationship."
A source close to the *NSYNC star explained: "He just had his second acting role, and he doesn't need bad press. This is what happened with [Britney Spears]; she was becoming a liability. He's not going to let [Cameron's] behavior reflect on [his career]."

A reader submits this account of Cameron Diaz’s high-speed chase with paparazzi yesterday, which ended in the parking lot at MTV’s offices:
Looks like the paparazzi are seeking revenge from that last incident Cameron had with them a few months back! I was at the MTV building yesterday afternoon in Santa Monica waiting outside. Suddenly a black Prius came careening into the parking lot at full speed. It drove in so quickly that it scraped up against a pole, scraping up the entire side of the car. I look up to see who it was, and sure enough Cameron Diaz was behind the wheel outrunning the paparazzi. Not 10 seconds later, 3 black SUV trucks came roaring in with paparazzi popping out of each truck, now chasing after Cameron on foot. Both security and police had to be called in to remove them. Quite a scene, and quite a gash to poor Cammie’s car. I’m sure she’ll have a new one before the weekend.
After making Diaz bang up her Prius, there’s nowhere for this feud to go but bloodshed. We’ll see who strikes first when the paparazzi invade Diaz and Justin Timberlake’s secret Valentine’s Day event in Vegas this weekend. Perhaps Timberlake will reclaim his balls from Diaz’s purse and take a swing at somebody? Nah…

Property tycoon Donald Trump has issued some advice to Hollywood sweetheart Cameron Diaz -- stop fighting paparazzi and start acting.
"The Apprentice" reality TV star complains the blonde beauty has kept too low an acting profile over the past two years, hitting the headlines too often for her high-profile romance with Justin Timberlake and her battles with photographers.
Trump tells gossip site The Scoop, "Until recently she was Hollywood's hottest actress, making $20 million per movie. But she's dropped off the radar screen.
"She hasn't done any big movies lately and the only thing that she seems to be doing is fighting the paparazzi when she's with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Justin Timberlake.
"But I don't think it's so smart for her to keep a low profile in this business. C'mon, Cameron. Get back to work. You're a terrific actress. We want to see your movies. And don't worry about the paparazzi. They'll only make you hotter."
So far, Diaz has just one film coming out this year -- "In Her Shoes," opposite Toni Collette.
