In verbal wrestling terms Jamelia has just lyrically choke slammed Usher. If she’s not modelling or winning awards the pop star occasionally has a few words to say.

Word on the street says that she’s spoken out about Usher’s bling in their meeting, "No matter how much money I have, I could never warrant spending it so frivolously. We weren't in poverty growing up but we had to save every penny."

Usher was apparently boasting about his $100,000 chain, and the Brummy princess was not impressed. She added, "Singers get paid way too much. I was able to have my daughter and sit at home for two years - how many people are able to do that?"

I agree with Jamelia. I think that even if I was rich beyond belief, I could not justify spending $100,000 on a necklace. It's not about being cheap, it 's about being realistic, do you really NEED a $100,000 necklace. The answer is always going to be "no".

I may spend a few thousand on it though, but no, not 100 grand. I'd rather get myself a nice car or a small appartment or something. Maybe a life time supply of gummy bears even.

Ok Jamelia has been slamming a lot of people lately...I need her to calm down...she's not the greatest thing out there...but anyway I do agree with her about artist's frivoulous spending habits...it's so unnecessary

Usher has spent over $1 million on a custom-made watch which features his face. Designed by Rocawear owner Damon Dash, the watch is studded with 1,106 diamonds and is currently on display at London's Natural History Museum.
