| JESSICA SIMPSON SUED OVER UNPAID BILL
Pop star Jessica Simpson is being sued for failing to pay her cosmetics bills.
Bosses at California company Cosmojet Inc. claim they provided products for Simpson's Dessert Beauty cosmetic line and the singer's company has failed to pay the full $952,000 they're owed.
The full bill was due to be paid in September but Cosmojet bosses claim they're still owed almost $200,000, according to legal show "Celebrity Justice."
Simpson's Dessert Beauty cosmetic line features edible bodycream such as the Deliciously Kissable Sugar Scrub and Powdered Sugar Deliciously Kissable Body Shimmer.
A spokesperson for the pop singer-turned-reality TV star says, "Jessica Simpson is a spokesperson for Dessert products and has no involvement in the day-to-day operation of the company's business.
"Ms. Simpson has no knowledge whether Cosmojet's claim has any basis, nor does she have any responsibility for the company's accounting and billing procedures or payment obligations. Ms Simpson does intend to vigorously dispute Cosmojet's merit-less claims against her."
