BEYONCE PAYS TRIBUTE TO JAY-Z ON NEW SINGLE
BEYONCE KNOWLES can no longer keep her romance with JAY-Z under wraps - she's cooing about the rapper in DESTINY'S CHILD's new single.
The sexy singer doesn't mention her man by name in the song SOLDIER, but it's clear she's talking about her 'secret' boyfriend, while joining bandmates KELLY ROWLAND and MICHELLE WILLIAMS in crooning about their love lives. Williams says, "If you don't know what we're talking about, then something is wrong."
Rowland, who is engaged to American football star ROY WILLIAMS adds, "Soldier is basically talking about what you want is a soldier that is going to stand up for you. A man that is just about it.
"We actually really get into detail about the kind of men that we like, whether he's from the East Coast or the West Coast or the South side with gold grills."

I am actually sort of agreeing with pink here.  I mean come on, Michelle, who released two gospel albums, singing about wanting a man who's from the hood is a bit ridiculous. But the other two do hang out with rappers (Jay Z, Nelly) so it's not too far fetched.
They kept going because they were performing to a backing track and if they stopped it would've ruined the whole performance. A bodyguard came and helped her up.
