NEWLYWEDS LOOK TO MOVE ON

Pop star couple Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are getting ready for parenthood as she turns 24.

"The Newlyweds" TV stars are thinking about starting a family -- before 30-year-old Nick gets too old.

She says, "I don't think it will be in six months or a year, but after that, Nick's getting old."

Lachey, who grew up with adopted and biological siblings, adds, "We'd love to have our own children, but we have a heart for kids, and we'd love to adopt."

I don't know if they're really ready to have kids. The saying is you shoudl have a plant, then a dog, then a kid. I really don't think Jessica can look after herself, let alone a plant, dog or child.

I hope they think this through seriously and wait till she's ready. They can always freeze his sperm or something if that's all thats motivating them to do it now.

The stars of MTV's "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica" reportedly have grown tired of the constant invasion of privacy and stresses of celebrity, says IMDb.com. "Our house is a set," says the bubbly blond singer. "People could walk in and know where the bathroom is, and that's weird." Rumor has it the couple is looking for a new home.

yea, I heard too that they are getting tried of the show...I could see why...I mean cameras are always around them, watching their every move....I would be going crazy after 2 years of that...

Jessica Simpson 'wants to run round the house naked!'

Jessica Simpson says she can't wait for 'Newlyweds' to finish - so she can run round the house naked.

The sexy singer, who stars in the hit reality TV show with husband Nick Lachey, says the couple, who married in 2002, want to spend some private time together - away from the cameras.

She said: "I'm ready to be at home. It feels good to be back in LA. We're not really newlyweds anymore.

It doesn't really make sense so, cameras go away!

That's when we'll start the whole newlywed process all over, because it's life without cameras.

We can run around our house naked for the first time and not be scared that there's a video camera on."

I am really going to miss Jessica & Nick when they finish doing Newlyweds. I am a big fan of the show, I lover her to death, she is so totally normal. I don't think it will be the same if Britney takes over.

It must be so hard to live like that all the time with cameras everywhere and in your face. I don't know how (or why) they do it.

SIMPSON AND LACHEY'S RESTAURANT MESS

Singers and "Newlyweds" stars Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey exploded with fury during the upcoming new season of the reality show, when waiters poured food all over Simpson at a Miami restaurant.

The couple were being filmed by MTV eating out with Simpson's pal Jamie-Lynn Discala at South Beach eatery Smith & Wollensky on Sunday night when a staff member accidentally spilled hot creamed spinach on the sexy singer's dress.

Restaurant staff and crew members reportedly burst out laughing -- but Lachey failed to see the funny side.

According to Page Six, the former boyband star fumed, "I want those [bleep] to apologize to my wife." Upon leaving, Lachey refused to pay the bill, which was eventually covered by MTV, who plan to screen footage of the row in the next series of "Newlyweds," Page Six reports.

Pop star Jessica Simpson and husband Nick Lachey, fronting the vocal foursome 98°, were announced the winners for favorite reality-based program - 24/7 for Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica at the 31st Annual People’s Choice Awards held at the Pasadena Civic Center in California on January 9.

In her interview to TV entertainment show Access Hollywood, Simpson expressed her sympathy to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, who have recently announced their split.

“Any marriage is tough,” she said. “You go through struggles and it’s work. You have to make it happen.I think they probably issued a statement because they thought they owed it to their fans,” AP reported Simpson’s admiration for the way Pitt and Aniston dealt with their breakup. “There are people who are fans of them together, and it’s good to hear from the person and not believe the lies.”

In November, Simpson, whose two-year-marriage has been surrounded by media speculation and gossiping, denied rumors about her rocky relationships with Lachey. “Our relationship is better than it’s ever been. We are absolutely not breaking up,” she told People magazine.

Nick Lachey Not Ready For Life Post-'Newlyweds'

An insider tells In Touch magazine while Jessica Simpson can't wait to finish shooting the final episodes of 'Newlyweds' final season, Nick Lachey is finding it hard to see the show end.

"Nick isn't ready to walk away," the insider said, because he fears he may flop on his own. "His career hasn't taken off like Jessica's," the source explained. But unfortunately for the 98 Degrees singer, Simpson "wants to be a movie star, not a cable TV star."

Los Angeles, Feb 4 : Pop star Jessica Simpson's painful root canal surgery featured on the new series of her hit reality TV show "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica".

The show's dentist reprimanded the star for not having regular check-ups and failing to floss, reported Contactmusic.com.

Simpson was shown undergoing the painful procedure on the latest episode of the show as husband Nick Lachey watched.

The unsympathetic Lachey said: "Let this be a lesson to you and your children - tell them one day to go to the dentist."

Bugger have that done normally, let alone having it all done on camera for international viewers. She must be super brave. I couldn't do it.

Nick Lachey's Happy 'Newlyweds' Is Almost Over

Despite the constant tabloid rumors, Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson remain stuck together with no visible complaints, according to Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com. But they're thrilled to be done with their reality show. "We have three days of shooting left and that's it, thank God," the 98 Degrees star told Friedman.

Nick and Jessica show really ending

Say goodbye to "The Newlyweds." The MTV reality show airs its last episode at 10 tonight after three seasons that revived the career of former boy band member and Cincinnatian Nick Lachey, and helped make the career of his wife, Jessica Simpson.

If one believes the tabloids these days, the show and marriage are really over, but that is a real reality story still to play out.

All we know is, last June Simpson told The Post the couple had agreed to do one last MTV season and seemed content that the public aspect of their life be over, having served its marketing purposes.

"That's it. After that, no more cameras," she said at the time.

The MTV show has followed the couple through 30 episodes documenting the first 2½ years of their marriage.

This season, the two acted more like a settled married couple, moving on with their lives together and separately. We saw them romantically touring Napa Valley wine country, Jessica starting a movie career in "Dukes of Hazzard," and Nick getting back to recording.

There was the Christmas in New York with Nick's Cincinnati family and a recent cute episode about limiting what they spend on Valentines Day. Nick proposed $10, Jessica argued she is worth $20. Nick came in at $16, Jessica barely held herself to $90.

And there was the lost boys wild weekend in Cabo where Nick and his friends manage to trash a Baja car with a minor $10,000 in damages. But we also saw Nick and Jessica pine for each other as their work schedules kept them apart

It short, it was a cozy fun season befitting an "old married couple" and didn't make for especially great TV. There were few Jessica-isms like the infamous "chicken or tuna" remark. Simpson's impulses were probably right: The show needs to end.

Of course, through it all, we never really know what is reality - the cuddly TV show documenting the couple's comings and goings or the recent tabloid headlines suggesting a divorce is imminent.

As usual, the truth is likely somewhere in between.

Viewers will next see Nick trying to revive his music career in what's tentatively being called "The Nick Lachey Project," a new reality series tracking his recording and marketing a new album.

MTV has not yet announced an air date for the project, possibly debuting in June.
