New Pepsi Ad with J-Lo and Becks |
| Posted by: schmiggens | | What will Posh say?
In terms of mending their marriage, the news probably went down like the proverbial lead balloon.
Fresh from being hauled over the coals by his wife Victoria following his alleged affair with his former personal assistant, David Beckham had to tell her he was off to meet up with two of the world's most glamorous women - one a renowned man-eater.
Whether Posh Spice was mollified by the fact that the England soccer captain would only be filming a new Pepsi commercial with three-times-married Jennifer Lopez and the stunning Beyonce Knowles is not known.
The two alluring divas may already have rendezvoused with the footballer to start shooting, it is reported.
Singer-actress Miss Lopez has signed a multi-million-pound contract to become the latest figurehead for the soft drink, according to U.S. television show The Insider. And Pepsi executives are keen to link her up with big-name signings Beyonce and Beckham.
At 34, Miss Lopez is currently on her third husband. She shocked family and friends in June by staging a surprise wedding to dancer Marc Anthony.
The ceremony came just six months after she split from her long-term fiancé, actor Ben Affleck.
Her first two marriages were over in little more than a year. Her first husband was waiter Ojani Noa in February 1997, but she divorced him 12 months later. She then had a two-year relationship with rap artist Sean 'Puffy' Combs.
That romance lasted until early 2001. Three months later, she became engaged to Cris Judd, one of her backing dancers, and they married in September 2001 - but by the following June, that marriage had also foundered amid rumours of an affair with Affleck.
Miss Knowles is currently dating rapper Jay-Z. The 22-year-old Destiny's Child singer, famous for her skimpy costumes and curvy figure, has had several Number One hits.
Beckham has already starred in a number of Pepsi's campaigns as part of a £2million-a-year sponsorship deal.
The 29-year-old Real Madrid midfielder is still a favourite with advertisers despite his family man image being tarnished by his alleged fling with his ex-PA Rebecca Loos. His marriage was placed under further pressure recently when Victoria's 22-year-old former beauty therapist Dannielle Heath claimed she had also had a sexual relationship with him. The Beckhams have denied the allegations and started legal proceedings.

| Posted by: schmiggens | | NOW I know why VICTORIA BECKHAM was so keen to accompany hubby DAVID on a shoot for a Pepsi ad. The heart-throb was surrounded by glamorous women for the session.
Posh turned up with David and their son ROMEO at Shepperton Studios, Middx, on Tuesday — and she left him for only half an hour as she took Romeo to see the set of THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE.
As well as the group of glamour girls around David, the ad also features J-LO and BEYONCE. But the stars never met — they filmed on different days.

Strange. makes me more curious about the ad and how they've done it if the stars all filmed seperately.

The Daily Star reports Destiny's Child star Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Lopez asked to be partitioned from Coldplay at a recent studio recording session in London where they were taping a Pepsi advertisement.
A source at the studio complained, "They were making a huge fuss about making sure no one could hear them and insisted on having a huge partition put up between their area of the studio and Coldplay's. It's ridiculous - all the recording suites are sound-proofed anyway."

| Posted by: schmiggens | | David Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce Knowles are set to square off in a new television advert. The two pop divas will team up against the Real Madrid footballer in a martial arts-style commercial for Pepsi that is being described as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon meets Kill Bill.
David in a cool black outfit will be taking on the sultry tandem of Beyonce and J-Lo who show off their martial arts moves and spectacular curves in their form-fitting leather suits.
The ad is the first promo for the beverage giant in which Becks will be appearing alongside non-sporting celebrities. This new promotion marks J Lo's debut appearance in an advert for the soft drink company. Co-star Beyonce's last commercial saw her team up with fellow singers Britney Spears and Pink as gladiators to take on Roman ruler Enrique Iglesias.
The spot will premiere later this month in Madrid.

Madrid was the place to be on Thursday as Pepsi unveiled its latest blockbuster advert featuring David Beckham pitted against Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce.
The heavily anticipated spot sees the sporting and music worlds face off in a martial arts-inspired commercial entitled Samurai. It is directed by Tarsem Singh who also directed J Lo in the sci-fi thriller The Cell.
Beyonce, J Lo and Becks were given a two-week crash course in kendo - the Japanese art of sword fighting - before making the new commercial which is set amid the Hong Kong underworld.
The ad begins with a spectacular shot of the former British colony and moves to a martial arts centre where two masked kendo experts are training. The pair remove their masks to reveal they are none other than Beyonce and Jennifer.
Hopping on a pair of motorcycles the dynamic duo speed through the streets of Hong Kong on a special mission to a shady downtown club. Here they are confronted by a group of thugs coordinated by an enigmatic figure lurking in the shadows. When Jennifer and Beyonce swiftly dispatch their opponents, the stranger reveals himself to be none other than David Beckham.
"They're amazing," said the soccer ace of his high-powered co-stars, describing making the slot as "an incredible experience".

It can't be bad knowing that more women than not fancy the pants off you...
But news that his latest fans are two of Hollywood's sexiest stars will no doubt please David Beckham no end.
Both Beyonce and J.Lo are fighting to sign up the footy hero for their next videos, according to The Sun.
It all comes as a result of a Pepsi advert that all three of them appeared in last month.
The two singing/ acting divas apparently had no idea how popular the England captain was until they attended the launch of the new ad in Madrid. There they witnessed Beckham-mania in action - and now they want to jump on the bandwagon and use his popularity in Europe to promote their new videos.
A source told the paper: "They couldn't believe how popular he was. During the promotional appearances more people were screaming for him than for them. Beyonce and J.Lo have good business heads and realise what great publicity it would be to have David in their videos."
Apparently the Real Madrid star is said to be flattered by their interest - and is tossing up between the pop stars - knowing that doing both would be overkill.
