Your thoughts about Marijuana

My friend recently got into smoking the wacky tobacky and I was just wondering what everyone thought about it. I tried it once and it was pretty cool but i'm scared about doing it again (mostly fears of getting caught). I've read up about it quite a bit online and almost everything i've read says it's safer than drinking or smoking cancer sticks, especially if you only do it on occasion. I'm aware of the damage it does to your lungs but that seems to be the only real danger. What are your thoughts?

Have you ever talked to someone who smoked it for years heavily? Many of them will tell you that it ruins your memory. I have never smoked it. I do know people who smoked it daily for years. They are not the same people they were before pot.

Pot is but another crutch for the human who wishes for the real world to be different. It is but a temporary fix.........

it's just fun

I am against it enough that I won't do it. But I got lots of friends in Florida that do.

I don't judge them for it.

The worst thing I ever heard about it was it gave you "man boobs".

Yet none of my buds had man boobs, so maybe that's a myth.

What if your a girl? Does it make your boobs bigger?

marijuana can lower testosterone, which can in extreme cases cause man boobs.

I believe it has the worst effects if you smoke when you are young. Studies have shown that it can interfere with brain development if you smoke regularly younger than 18 or so.

Never tried it, never will. I have an addictive personality, I feel, so try to stay away from things that may be deemed addictive. *takes a swig of his beer*

Closest thing to drug use for me was a few years back, I took two kinds of cold medicine, which (apparently) had an hallucinogenic affect on me, then coupled with alcohol, everything just became too weird. I don't remember much of it though.

But that was an accident.

Anyway, like the law dog, I wont judge those who do smoke it.... I haven't heard of someone smoking pot and going mental, killing their folks or slicing their skin off "'cause they felt like it" or because a yellow bunny told them to do it. If anything, it mellows psychos.
