IT seems the star thing to do nowadays isn't make another hit record - it's have a baby - and both J-Lo and Britney have announced their intentions to be mums.
J-Lo, married to Marc Anthony for just four months, said: 'There's nothing more important to me than family. I've always wanted a family of my own. I have a feeling it will be the most important project.'
J-Lo's interview with magazine US Weekly was one of her most revealing since her highly-publicised break-up with Hollywood hunk Ben Affleck at the beginning of the year.
She said: 'I'm a little bit older. I'm a little bit - I'd like to think - wiser and more mature. And I'd like to think that I learn from experiences.'
She refuses to talk-down her time with Affleck, saying: 'Ultimately, I'm glad about all the experiences that have got me where I am today.'
But she admitted that she realised she needed to keep a lower profile if her romance with Anthony was to stand any chance of succeeding.
She said: 'I don't come out of the house now. I get a house that has a pool where you can just be secluded with someone who cooks really well... and just stay in there all day, sleeping and eating too much.'
On persevering through rough patches, she said: 'I believe relationships are defined in the way in which problems and challenges are resolved and handled.
'But hard times is when a marriage becomes a marriage - or it just falls apart.'
Her ultimate lesson, though, is: 'Be as happy as you can and strive for more in your relationships. Don't settle for less.'
She added: 'I'm grateful for my family ... for my life, my career, my relationships, everything.
'I'm grateful for love most of all because I have a lot of it in my life at the moment.'
I think she should get a dog first, maybe a pot-plant. I honestly don't think J-Lo could cope with having a tiny human being being totally dependant on her. She can't even depend totally on herself. I guess her "people" can always look after the baby for her.

So J.Lo reportedly requested various health foods – including fresh fish, pulses, lentils, and protein shakes with ten different fruits -to be delivered to her two 2,000GBP-a-night suites at swanky Claridge’s Hotel during her recent trip to the UK.
The brunette beauty also insisted on various luxuries to help her stay relaxed, including six extra pillows, Egyptian cotton sheets worth 300GBP each, four humidifiers and a masseur on call.
Jennifer, who was in London to promote her forthcoming new album, also required a 70,000GBP Louis XIV table, a spotlight and that the suites were painted her favourite colour – white.
However, when J.Lo arrived at the hotel, she allegedly complained the new white walls weren’t up to standard.
A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Jennifer is very particular about the colour of her room. She claims white makes her feel a lot calmer – but only if it’s the right shade. “When her expectations were dashed, she was far from happy and told staff how she felt.” Jennifer is also reported to have made a similar complaint about the colour of the walls at Madrid’s exclusive Ritz hotel.

LOPEZ 'DEPRESSED' AFTER SPEAKING ABOUT AFFLECK BABY
Jennifer Lopez was so stunned when an interviewer asked her how she felt about her ex-fiance Ben Affleck expecting a baby with Jennifer Garner, she declared that the subject "depressed" her.
Affleck and Garner exchanged nuptials late last month in the Caribbean, shortly before confirming to the speculating public that they were expecting their first child together.
But Lopez -- who split with her "Gigli" co-star Affleck at the beginning of last year, four months before marrying Marc Anthony -- wasn't expecting that she'd have to speak about the baby news when she sat for an interview with Elle magazine.
Blushing, Lopez said of the pregnancy, "I hope that they're happy. You know, it's a beautiful thing. There are no hard feelings."
But when Elle apologized for raising the subject, Lopez, who later admitted that becoming a mother is one of her ultimate dreams, responded, "Yeah, you depressed me."
