Jackson to sue Eminem over his new video

Michael Jackson will allegedly sue rapper Eminem over his new music video, which mocks the Thriller star.

The Just Lose It promo features Eminem dressed as Jackson, losing his cosmetically enhanced nose, jumping on a bed with young children, being vomited on by the real Eminem and dousing his flaming hair by sticking his head down a toilet.

Jackson has branded the video "disrespectful" and is determined to have it banned, reports Britain's Daily Sport newspaper.

"The Jackson family feels the video is demeaning and disrespectful. Michael is very displeased and doesn't want it shown," a Jackson spokesperson said.

A source close to the 46-year-old said, "The entire video is a send-up of Michael Jackson. Michael is very upset and is going crazy over it. Don't be surprised if he sues over this."

"He is moonwalking and has greasy hair. Eminem's hair catches on fire, just like Michael's did in the famous Pepsi commercial. He runs into a public toilet and douses the flames in a toilet."

I haven't seen the video yet. I will pass judgement after I have seen it for myself. It certainly sounds like it's not very nice, but we'll see.

Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

Yeah, I saw the video and it "IS" disrespectful. Everybody on the Shady/Aftermath label is disrespectful to veterans and pioneers in the music business. But I guess Eminem can't help it because he's mentally disturbed due to being abused as a child. I guess it caused him to develop a case of Tourettes Syndrome also because he does and says the most "off the wall" crap.

I haven't seen it but what everyone else in the world, and comeon you know youve done it, says and does with the jokes and comments is no different. WHen i was younger Micheal Jackson was one of my favorite singers. BUt come on right now hes a joke. He 's a big target and is gonna be for a long time. Is it right, no, is it fair, maybe, but the point is, People are free to do and say anything they want to about other peolpe as long as it isnt slander. And for wat I read, he's just making fun of stuff thats happened to him right. So yeah maybe its a bit dirty but what can you do. How about this...SUCK IT UP GET A LIFE AND STOP OBSESSING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO CELEBRITIES!!!!

Michael Jackson is on the warpath, and his target is none other than Eminem. Currently embroiled in his legal battles on charges of child molestation, Jackson reportedly ''hit the ceiling'' and was ''screaming with rage'' over the Oscar-winning rapper's new video that skewers the King of Pop.

Jackson's spokeswoman Ramone Bain issued a statement saying, ''Michael Jackson is very angry. He feels Eminem has crossed the line.'' Earlier, Bain told the New York Daily News, ''Michael is calling upon all networks to pull the video.''

So far, only Black Entertainment Television has indicated it will no longer broadcast Eminem's ''Just Lose It.''

In the video, Eminem -- dressed as a Jackson look-alike -- is seen sitting on a bed while a bunch of young boys bounce around behind him. Eminem raps, ''Come here, little kiddie, on my lap. Guess who's back with a brand new rap? And I don't mean rap, as in a case of child molestation.''

Bain told the Sun-Times the video ''exceeds what anyone could consider a satire or a spoof. This is malicious and totally insensitive.''

In other scenes on the video, Eminem ridicules both Jackson's frequent plastic surgeries and the infamous hair-burning incident that occurred when he taped that Pepsi commercial back in the early 1990s.

A spokesman for Eminem declined to comment.

I saw the video, and he was making fun of more people than just jackson.
I think MJ has bigger problems he needs to worry about than eminem, who if you've all forgetten does this stuff just to be contriversial and stir **** up, it sells records.

well, yeah its kind of funny but, on the other hand he's making fun of something thats serious, it is disrespectfull. He might as well have dressed as Kobe and pretend to rape that girl....would that be funny? Em has gone too far this time,.he might sell ok, but he's gotta find another way of selling records..not by disrespecting other ppl.

Yeah well, as long as everyone keeps talking about celebrities this stuff is gonna happen. I'm sure everyone that is famous even for that 15 mins would appreciate it. BUt it's gonna happen, if it's not em it'll be the movies with stuff like in scary movie 3, jookes, that im sure you all have made, ex. how did mj get food poising I'm sure youve all heard that one, and shows like SNL and Mad TV. the stuff comes is all over the tv. So how about this. WHy doesn't everyone stop obessing about whats going on with people in the media and it wouldnt be a problem now would it.

NYC protesters support Michael Jackson in Eminem MTV video dispute

NEW YORK -- Angry Michael Jackson fans _ about 16 in total _ demonstrated Thursday outside the Times Square studios of MTV over the network's airing of an Eminem video that pokes fun at their perpetually strange singing idol.

Jackson's supporters were surprised by a message from the self-proclaimed King of Pop, who called into Fox News to "thank my fans for their strong support over the years." The phone call was played for the fans via loudspeakers on the street.

In the video, "Just Lose It," Detroit rapper Eminem impersonates Jackson, appearing with a group of boys in the background. "Come here, little kiddie, on my lap. Guess who's back with a brand new rap," he sings.

Later in the clip, the Jackson character's nose falls from his face to the floor.

The Jackson fans said MTV shouldn't air it.

"We're here because we feel as though MTV has a responsibility to the public not to air this kind of video," said Vernay Lewis, an organizer of the rally and member of the Michael Jackson Fan Club. "It's insensitive. It's rude to Michael and his family."

MTV had earlier ignored an appeal from Jackson to remove the video from rotation. Black Entertainment Television stopped running it last month at Jackson's request.

Jackson has pleaded not guilty in California to child molestation, conspiracy and administering alcohol to an underage companion. He reiterated his complaints about the video during his phone call to Fox.

"It's demeaning and disrespectful," Jackson said. "And I also want to make it clear that it's not just about Michael Jackson but about a pattern of disrespect that he has shown to our community. He needs to stop it, and he needs to stop it now."

A Jackson impersonator danced to "Beat It" during the demonstration. "Michael Jackson, Keep Hope Alive," read a sign waved by one of the protesters _ although at least one in their small number wasn't too upset.

"He should not have made fun of (Jackson)," said Cynthia Villanueva, 16, of Plainfield, N.J. "But the song is all right."

JACKSON ENCOURAGES ANTI-EMINEM PROTEST

Troubled superstar Michael Jackson encouraged a group of fans to protest against MTV's decision to keep broadcasting Eminem's controversial "Just Lose It" video outside the network's New York studios Thursday.

The self-proclaimed King of Pop's phone call to Fox News host Geraldo Rivera was put through live speakers in Times Square, as 20 fans slammed the rapper for mocking Jackson in his latest video.

Last month Black Entertainment Television (BET) pulled the promo, which features Eminem dressed as Jackson, jumping around on a bed with young children, out of respect to Jackson.

In the phone call Thursday, Jackson said, "It's demeaning and disrespectful.

"And I also want to make it clear that it's not just about Michael Jackson but about a pattern of disrespect that he has shown to our community. He needs to stop it, and he needs to stop it now.

"I love them (my fans) so much."

Despite Jackson's pleas, MTV has refused to remove the video from its channels.
