Well, why not?
It sounds ever so slightly hypocritical of me to suggest this but can it not be argued that the re-election of George W. Bush could in fact be a good thing?
Don't get me wrong, I despise George W. Bush, to me he embodies everything that is wrong with America and more importantly American material values and their relations and impacts upon the rest of the world.
So why vote for him?
Well, imagine this: Kerry becomes president. George W. Bush's reign can be put down as a blip on the overall actions and implications of what is in totality, good American power. Bush was a madman, he did bad bad things but its ok now, he's gone....the good guys are back!
The question you have to ask is this, do you want American Global power and the implimentation of this power with a smile and a friendly face, OR do you want to see it as it is. The one thing about the Bush administration is this, though in reality they try to hide their intentions, it is obvious to any individual with oversight what is ACTUALLY happening. With Kerry we will get all the ramifications of grossly overweight Power but without the obvious signals as to the real intent.
This may prove easy to take for those that want a healthy concience but is this really what Americans should settle for?
Four more years of Bush would ensure that something internationally is done about American Power and its effect when abused by those who control it. Also it may lead to international repremandation and punishment for the man who is responsible for creating the circumstances we find ourselves in today. To say world peace and the world order as we know it, is unstable....is an understatement of massive proportions.
I just want to through this out there and see the reaction, the better half of me would just love to see the back of this bastard once and for all.

I know what you're saying but even though Kerry may be more subtle in his power games, the world now has the internet and this one enormous factor means it's far more difficult for politicians to get away with anything. Imagine how difficult it would have been to recall what politicians actually said to justify the Iraq war before it began. Now it's just a google search away.

I dread to think what another four years of Bush would be like if he carries on the pre-emtive policy. Then again who would he attack? Iran - they have a large military and it would more than likely start internal stirring in all countries with Muslim populations including Britian and the US. I have heard rumour that because Iraq has not gone as expected Bush may pull back from the pre-emtive policy if he wins a second term.
