Ive heard a lot of crap from haters dissin Avril (especially on this site) but frankly does it matter? Haters think they are hardcore and think that Avril is a poser but they are just taking irrelevant facts out of context.
The real issue is that she does not use sex sell her music like other female contempories, and has already taken steps to use her talent in a positive manner (raising money for charity wiv Knocking on Heaven's door). You must be able to see that as she matures she is becoming a Poet-Musician who will undoubtbly become more and more successful in the future.
Please remember that Avril is a better person than you - the hater.

We all have to realise that Avril is successful,she's making her money. What are ya'll doing? Sitting at your computers bashing her, like your comments are gonna make her quit music... I don't think so, so Avril hater, please take this message to your head and realise that you, and all haters like you, have no opinion whatsoever in Avril's career.

Its great to finally see some people seeing the real truth to this Avril thing. To me, all the avril haters, are just people who have nothing better to do than bag someone who is different and affects there wussy belief to normality and what a 'real punk is'. who gives a damn if avril isnt a hardcore punk! y cant someone dress with a punk look without taking it seriously? it doesnt make much sense to me!

like what Evan said, you all think you are so hardcore, but you get so worked up over something so little, and so upset about it, to me that doesnt sound hardcore at all, it sounds more wussy than anything.

Hmmm. lets c , Two as yet descent songs iv heard & with the TERRIBLE cover of the Guns&Roses (G&R) Knockin on Heavens Door, It has no feeling she just sings, NO SAYS the words. Praying on the humanity of her fans to sell the damn record , im sorry but its a bit much. Most definetly the worst cover of any G&R song iv ever heard. Only time will tell as to whether or not she will stay.

My God, frankly I think that Avril is an idiot, but since you all beg to differ, I guess it doesn't matter.What I would like to say however, is that rather than jumping down each others throats why can't you people all just accept that we don't share opinions, and stop being sooks?!

I think it's great how all you people are standing up for Avril on this forum, I thought I was the only one, These topics must be real old, I only joined just over 2 months ago I think, (cause I had to correct the haters and losers after seeing so much rubbish) it doesn't seem like many people come here anymore.

off topic, but ah well:
I think anyone invloved with the paparazzi who STALKS (yes, that's what it is) celebrities and similar should be locked up (or worse) cause that's just plain wrong, how come they are allowed to do it? This had better get fixed before people start to fix the problem themselves... (the most efficient way, but the police arrest 'justice bringers' cause otherwise THEY'LL look bad for not fixing it earlier).

I wanted to tell him to follow his own advice, I don't know how I wrote that, I usually do proof read. I can't be bothered with the Avril haters any more, I'll just ignore them.

Tell me, Avril Lovers, what is good about the hack, known better as Avril? She is truly untalented, she isn't even attractive. And theoretically shouldn't you have at least one of those traits?! Wow, she co-writes all of her own music, that could very well mean she only puts one word into the whole song. She isn't even a bloody punk! She originally wanted to be a country singer, her record company thought that "punk" would be better for her image. So, please tell me why she is so great because I'm really intrigued to know what people see in her.

Why does she need to be attractive? I like her music, but if you don't, that's fine. Just don't come saying that it's useless. And what's with the 'punk' thing? If she likes to dress like a punk, or think she's a punk, what's wrong with that? Isn't her music the important thing?

And where's Barny. He still hasn't told me what sort of music he listens to, since our taste has a lot to learn.

You see, the point in looks is, if you lack as much talent as Avril does, you generally need looks to back up your career. And since she has neither looks nor talent I'm quite confused. And the 'punk' thing well, you don't wear ties over singlets or spike bands because you enjoy it, you wear them as a fashion statement. I haven't seen too many other country singers claiming to be punks or, as Avril puts it, "I'm more of a goth than a punk". And Avrilfan101, if you think that pop/rock/punk is everything then you clearly don't know much AT ALL about music. There are so many bands who incorporate more involved music such as jazz, blues, classical and so forth into their own genres and actually make it sound good.

You can wear ties and spike bands if you want to. One of my friends wears black all the time because she wants to, but all the people at school say she's a wannabe goth, although she's not.

What part of what I said entailed me saying that you can't wear ties? I, quite frankly, don't care if your friend wears ties and is accused of being a wannabe goth. I merely said that it is making a fashion statement, which I still maintain.

My point was that some people might just like wearing certain clothes which punks or goths wear, but aren't punks or goths themselves. So people call them "wannabes", which is just stupid.

I never said that everyone who wears a tie is necessarily a 'wannabe', just Avril. I don't see many other country singers dressing the way she does.

Yeah, maybe you have got a point there. But I still like her music, whatevr she dresses like.
