Dusky pop sensation Beyonce Knowles has beaten screen diva Halle Berry in a poll by Smooth magazine to claim the title of the 'hottest urban beauty'.
The Bond girl, famous for her high cheekbones and hourglass figure lost the No.1 title to the sultry 'Crazy in Love' singer.
The third slot went to actress Stacey Dash with singer Alicia Keys coming in at No. 4. Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez got the seventh position followed by catwalk queen Tyra Banks at No. 8.
Pop star Janet Jackson, whose new album 'Velvet Pope' was released recently, was polled as the 10th best urban beauty.
According to Smooth magazine, the Top 10 hot urban beauties are: .
1. Beyonce Knowles
2. Halle Berry
3. Stacey Dash
4. Alicia Keys
5. Claudette Ortiz
6. Sanaa Lathan
7. Jennifer Lopez

Beyonce just keeps getting better and better though. Everytime I see her she looks amazing.
