Mariah Carey demands puppies, Cameron Diaz has someone to shave her armpits, J Lo needs a flunky to do up her shoes. Usher showed at a P Diddy's party in Bottinos, NYC, last week that he's the newest diva on the block.

Usher walked to the bar for a drink, but refused to talk to the barman. Instead, he waited for his bodyguard, whispered in his ear, and then the bodyguard spoke to the barman, "Usher will have a Bellini."

The barman mixed the drink and went to hand it to the star, but was stopped by the body-guard, who explained that he was the only one allowed to hand Usher his Bellini. This is repeated through the evening.

Usher's bodyguard then takes a packet of peanut M&Ms, asks for 5 wine glasses, separates the chocolates into the glasses by colour, and asks bar staff to take over to the star on a tray.

Umm, can anyone say "diva"?

hmm kinda sounds false..? i believe the part about the m&ms cuz i saw him on mtv diary and he did say something about sorting m&ms but he doesn't seem like the type who would be so "diva-ish" or "stuck up" to not talk or even take a drink from the barkeep

USHER'S RED CARPET TANTRUM

R&B star Usher upset other celebrity guests at GQ's Men of the Year Awards in Los Angeles last week, by banning them from the red carpet.

The hitmaker "insisted everyone and their mother clear the red carpet or he would refuse to walk it" at trendy L.A. restaurant Lucques, reports Page Six.

Organizers were so eager to please the heartthrob, other stars who arrived at the same time, including Dustin Hoffman, had to enter through the back door.

...if this all is true its pretty messed up....fans loved him and gave him all he is today and then he has the nerve to b so arrogant! I loved him since he started but i feel myself thinkin less of him as the years go bye....usher get real

USH'S IN DA CAR

He orders Rolls to take him 200 yards

IT'S a tiring lark being an R'n'B star. Which might explain why Usher insisted on his driver ferrying him the entire 200 yards to a London club after a movie screening.

And in a move straight out of the Naomi Campbell school of etiquette, he kept a shocked VIP audience waiting as his entourage ordered the red carpet to be "cleared" for his entrance.

Our spy reveals: "Usher was at the Rex Cinema + Bar for a showing of his new mini-movie Rhythm City Volume 1: Caught Up.

"It went well, and most of the audience then headed off to a performance by R'n'B singer John Legend at The Penthouse, a venue literally two minutes' walk away."

But like J.Lo, who once splashed out £16,000 on cars to drive her 200 yards to dinner, Ush, 26, obviously doesn't "do" pavements...

"People were pretty shocked to see him piling in to his Rolls-Royce Phantom - especially as it took three times longer to drive than to get there on foot."

And it gets worse...

"When his car pulled up at The Penthouse, his security insisted that everyone who had been queueing patiently clear the way for him to get out, which took five minutes."

Guests including Lemar, June Sarpong and Estelle and Terri Walker were left shivering while his Royal Ushness made his entrance.

Our mole continues: "When he finally got in he was in great spirits and sang along to most of John's set. The atmosphere was electric."

Ush then headed off to his third party of the night at swish West End club Kabaret's Prophecy - where, not content with making a bit of an arse of himself earlier, he decided to bare his backside as he left.

Put it away, love. Still, they must love him at the club as they've given him a "key", which means he can go whenever he wants - even when it's usually closed.

The only other people with keys are Pharrell Williams, Janet Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Miramax boss Harvey Weinstein.

And Ush took full advantage. "Staff were instructed to fill the place with hot women," our spy adds. "But Ush was more into dancing on chairs and necking vodka Red Bulls.

"Unusually there was no Cristal consumed so his bill was a modest £5,000."

Still, he more than made up for his lack of interest in the totty when he left. "Usher headed back to the Sanderson Hotel with around 20 girls," our spy s******s. "That must have been when the champagne corks started popping."

Obviously he's got money to Burn...

Holy Jesus Christ, one minute I hear that Usher is down to earth and very normal and the next minute he's doing stuff like this. He needs a reallity check.

Other people seem to cope with the Paparzzzi and still get out and about and have lives. That's no excuse. He should face it. He is a diva

It's just weird though. Going back to the first post, about the drink... I mean, you can do that without making it look so dumb. Like tell your bodyguard or a mate or whoever what you want to drink, they go get it and bring it to you. The fact that he's whispering into people's ears, they're relaying messages (and drinks) is just dumb.

The thing with that first article is that the Bodyguard didn't allow the Bellini to be handed over, but when it came to sorting the M&M's, they left that to bar staff and let the bar staff take them to Usher. I can handle him being a diva, but he should at least be consistent.
