Just a regular Guy ... Ritchie dons hat for party
MADONNA may be a multi-millionaire but I can reveal she’s not flashing her cash around.
The Material Girl went back to basics when she threw a 36th birthday bash for hubby GUY RITCHIE at the weekend.
And I mean basics. Madge paid £30 to hire a room at a London pub for Guy to have a knees-up with 20 of his closest friends, including nightclub entrepreneur PIERS ADAM.
Celebs were strictly off the guest list at Mayfair’s Punch Bowl for the Irish-themed party — as was the champagne.
Madge swilled half-pints of real ale and Guy stuck to Guinness.

One guest said: “The party was great fun but not the type of do you’d expect Madonna to organise.
“She drank ale all night and really let her hair down. She had hired a two-piece Irish band and sang along to all the songs with everyone else.
“Madonna arrived with Guy at 9pm, looking a million miles from the star you see on stage. She was wearing baggy jeans, a flat cap and hardly any make-up.
“She left by herself just before 1am and she was pretty merry — she loves the taste of ale and had a fair few.

“She could’ve hired the Ritz and had champagne flowing all night but she knows what Guy likes.
“Guy said it was the best night out he’s had in ages.
“He stayed on until 3.30 and was in a right old state, telling all his pals how much he loved them and singing at the top of his voice.”
Oh dear, I wonder how many bottles of Kabbalah water it took to cure Mr Madonna’s hangover the next day?
