Supermodel Heidi Klum's legs have been valued at over £1million
The price tag on the blonde beauty's pins was matched against their length, shape, rarity and commercial value.
London auction house Phillips De Pury & Company was instructed to size up the German catwalk queen by Braun - who will insure her legs while she promotes their new hair-removal product.
Insurance expert John Souglides said: "Having valued static objects for 15 years, it makes a refreshing change to value something living - and I certainly admire the exquisite lines of this piece.
"Phillips De Pury has been in the valuation business since 1796. Although we have valued some unusual and unique pieces in that time, this is the first time we have ever been asked to value a body part and we were intrigued by the challenge Braun set us."
The supermodel joins a string of celebrities who in recent years have insured their body parts.
Football star David Beckham's legs are insured for over $70million, while rocker Bruce Springsteen would collect $6million if he lost his voice.
Jennifer Lopez also astounded fans when she revealed she would receive a cool $27million if she ever damaged her famous bottom. | |
