Teen rocker Avril Lavigne has a penchant for black leather and bondage gear.

The singer has undergone a makeover for Tuesday's "Fashion Rocks" spectacular in New York, but she knows what style suits her best.

Lavigne says, "I know something is me if it's black and has studs and bondage straps. And a skull and crossbones or camouflage."

She likes bondage straps?
