Teen Drama: Duff vs. Lohan
The latest celebrity girl fight stars teen queens Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan who have snubbed one another since dating the same guy.



The ongoing feud between the teen stars began last year when Lohan found out that her boyfriend at the time, singer Aaron Carter, had cheated on her with Duff. Lohan, 17, and Carter, 16, promptly split and then Duff, 16 showed up on Carter’s arm at the premier of Freaky Friday starring Lohan. Needless to say, Lohan was less than pleased which sparked the battle between the two.

"I didn’t mean any harm if I dated him at the same time," Duff says. "I think he cheated on me, and I think he cheated on her…I love him to death as a friend [but] he made it look [to me] like they had broken up." It was also reported that Duff tried to have Lohan thrown out of the after-party last month for the premier of Duff’s movie Cheaper by the Dozen. Again, Duff plays innocent. "I couldn’t even tell you what she looked like at the premier," Duff said. "I think I’ve met her maybe twice. It’s, like, every single time I see her, she starts talking bad about me."

The younger version of Britney and Christina – these girls are not only vying for the affections of the same guy they are battling for fans and roles. Not to mention both girls sing. Lohan sang on the Freaky Friday soundtrack and has a five album deal with Emilio Estefan while Duff sang on the Lizzie McGuire soundtrack and has a deal with Disney’s record label. Each girl is working on three upcoming films. Their rivalry could get in the way of their popularity if they are not careful. Both are talented actresses and singers with a long career ahead of them unless they let jealousy get in their way! Grow up girls!

Hilary Duff is bringing her show to Australia for a performance in both Sydney and Melbourne.

At the age of 17 Hilary Duff is a pop star, TV star, movie star and fashion designer. After achieving international fame as Lizzy McGuire, the Disney star has also appeared in the movies 'Agent Cody Banks' and 'Cheaper By The Dozen'. She'll be seen next in The Cinderella Story.

In Australia, her album Metamorphosis, the Christmas album and the Lizzy McGuire soundtrack have now sold more than 200,000 units.

Hilary Duff dates are:

October 27, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
October 28, Sydney, Entertainment Centre

Actress Hilary Duff has hit out again at teen rival Lindsay Lohan, blaming the "Mean Girls" star for starting their feud.

The pair have been at each other's throats since Lohan, 18, discovered Duff was dating her ex-boyfriend, singer Aaron Carter.

But Duff, 17, insists Lohan's jealousy is behind the bickering.

The "A Cinderella Story" actress says, "The thing is, it's all so childish and immature. This all started because we both dated Aaron Carter, and she went around telling everybody that I was a horrible person who had stolen her boyfriend. She then got [bleeped] off because I worked with Chad Michael Murray after she had worked with him on 'Freaky Friday.'

"She called him up and said all these awful things about me, which she then repeated to the press. I don't think I can take it anymore. It's so hurtful. Sometimes I feel like I really hate her, which is pretty extreme for me, because I don't hate anybody."

But Duff insists she is prepared to rise above the rift: "She's always trying to spread stories about me, but the funny thing is, I know so many stories about her that I could tell you right now, but I'm not going to, because I don't think people should know. I don't want her to get mad at me for telling them. And you know what the funny thing is in all this? I just want us to be friends -- that's all."

Hilary Duff is hitting back at rival Lindsay Lohan with a new song.

The feud between Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan has turned musical.

The two teen rivals have been at odds since last year, when Lohan discovered that Duff was dating her ex-boyfriend, singer Aaron Carter. Since then, they have been trading barbs, and Lohan allegedly even left nasty messages on Duff’s answering machine.

Now, Duff is hitting back in a song. The 17-year-old singer has just released a self-titled CD and sources say that one of the songs, “Haters,” is aimed primarily at Lohan.

“Hilary thinks that Lindsay has been directing negativity at her for too long,” says one insider.

In one verse of “Haters,” Duff sings: “You’re the queen of superficiality/Keep your lies out of my reality.” In another she declares: “You say your boyfriend’s sweet and kind/But you’ve still got your eyes on mine.”

Duff’s rep didn’t respond to requests for comment.

The teen queens declared their undying hatred for each other after they simultaneously dated Aaron Carter, but at last Friday's Z100 Jingle Ball, Duff took the feud up a notch when she got her boyfriend to make Lohan's little brother cry.

Lohan, at the con cert to introduce Destiny's Child, was with her brother Cody, 8, Cody's pal (also 8), her sister Ali, 10, and her mother, Dina. "Cody and his friend love Good Charlotte, who were playing, and they really wanted an autograph from the band," our source reports. But when the boys and a Universal publicist knocked on the dressing room door, there was Duff sitting on the lap of Good Char lotte band member Joel Madden, whom she's dat ing. Told that one boy was Lohan's brother, Duff whispered to Madden, who snapped: "Get me your mother!" When Dina got to the dressing room, Madden told her: "Until your daughter publicly apologizes to [Hilary], you're not getting any autographs!"

According to our spy, "Cody started crying, he was so upset. Dina was just appalled." A rep for Lohan declined comment. A rep for Duff said, "Hilary was not even near Joel's dressing room all night."

Pathetic I can understand them hating eachother, but for Hillary to get her boyfriend to yell at an eight year old. Hillary must have really low self esteem if she has to do that to make herself feel better.

I agree. It was so long ago now. It's ancient history. And when Lindsay and Wilmer broke up, there were rumours that Wilmer was dating Ashlee Simpson and Lindsay and Ashlee are still friends. So if she can be friends with Ashlee so soon, why not be friends with Hillary after all this time?

I think they both love the publicity too much. They'll still be fighting like this when they're 80.

I recently worked as an extra on LL's upcoming film "Just My Luck." The scene was set in an public relations firm where Lohan works. The walls were decorated with magazine covers, and way back in the very back of the set was one particular picture LL found disturbing. She was standing not three feet in front of me when she got this enraged look in her eye, stormed over to the wall and yanked down a picture of HILLARY DUFF! She told one of her minions to "get rid of this." The picture was quickly replaced.

HILARY Duff and Lindsay Lohan have conjured up another spat.

The teen queens' long-standing feud has just gone up a notch after Mean Girl Duff's new movie, Material Girl, features a nasty little character called "Lindsay Lohan".

Others in the flick include porn star Ron Jeremy, who plays a pimp and rumour is the LL character may be one of his charges.

The real LL has now told producers of her new film, Fashionistas, to write in a part for a klutzy loser to be called "Hilary Duff".
