BAD boy rapper 50 Cent proved a cowardy custard last night fleeing from the stage in the middle of his Reading Festival gig.

The 28-year-old hip hopper - real name Curtis Jackson - high-tailed it after being pelted with bottles, coins and mud by a less-than-impressed crowd.

One member of the baying mob even hurled a metal chair at the performer - who promptly picked it up and threw it back.

Feisty Fiddy's show degenerated into chaos as he hurled abuse at the crowd, calling them all "f****rs".

He managed just 25 minutes of his hour-long set with group G-Unit.

A festival-goer told 3am: "It was terrible. As soon as 50 Cent arrived on stage he was met by people screaming abuse and booing. In the end he stormed off."

It's not been a good weekend for the In Da Club singer. He failed to show for his own aftershow party in London's West End after Saturday's Wembley concert.

I just read the article and it says that the crowd was chanting "50 is a wanker". Wanker being a British term for jerk-off.

Man, that's bad when people internationally knows he's a buster. I just can't believe they had to go to his concert to discover that.

ANYWAY

@Killa it's a reading festivial he's promoting reading did you think he was gonna be just another ignorant rapper?! I mean really dude can read so he might as well promote it, he was trying to be positive.

@the whole damn artical them people can go somewhere with they BS and so what if 50 was cussin at the people who came to the concert. Obviously they had to like 50 to show up at the concert, or they just a bunch of jerk-offs who didn't have a life or anything better to do so they started acting like a bunch of "female dogs" And if you was 50 and people was sayin mess like that to you, what would you do? I wouldn't have stormed off I would have stayed myself right there and kept sayin what the hell I had to say cuz either way they money was going in MY pocket so what they all could have did was kick rocks for all I care. And if they hate 50 oh well he ain't gonna loose no sleep cuz he still got more fans that love and appreciate him and if he got haters who gives a flyin freak everybody got haters you just gotta learn to love them son of.....*u get the point*

^well said. i think every rapper has had something like this happen to them before. even nas and jigga have been booed off and embarassed at their own concerts. its all apart of being an artist. some people are gonna feel you, and some aren't. unlike 50, i would have stayed up there and threw the stuff back at them. (any 50 haters coming in here to bash 50, remember what happened to ja rule at the source awards, and what happened last year when he got booed off the stage while singing with ashanti?)

wots all this about y pay 4 somethin u dont like they obviously wanted to see real artists and they got pissed off when he started wasting their time n money. he was probably a filler artist

I think at the same concert The Rasmus got booed off stage as well. So maybe that was just a really unhappy crowd.

50 Under Investigation

http://sixshot.com/images/images/0503_50_cent_a.jpg

British police are searching for 50 Cent after injuring a concertgoer by throwing a microphone in his face. The microphone allegedly struck Tom Wilshire in the face and knocked him unconscious at Britain's recent Reading Festival. In late August, the Reading crowd booed and threw bottles at 50 during his performance. While a bulk of the audience booed 50, Wilshire contends that he was one of the few cheering 50 on before he abruptly exited the stage because of the crowd's rude behavior. "His parting gift to the crowd was to hurl his microphone into the audience," said Wilshire. "It hit me and my legs went from under me."

As much as I can't stand 50, that Tom Wilshire guy has to be more stupid than him. How in God's name do you get hit in the head with a microphone and the impact knocks your legs from under you, unless it dropped from an airplane!
I realize 50 is big and all but daaaaamn!!

its funny how you criticize 50's fans for taking up for him, when you do the very same thing for ja. you're always trying to school muh***kers on 50 but you don't even know anything about him. ja has been booed just as many times as 50. you try to ignore things like that. i've been to many of 50's concerts and he was getting love from everybody out there. u need to stop hatin on that ***** and realize that he's going to stay on BET and still sell records whether you like it or not. stop bashing 50's fans when you have no reason to.

^ LMAO, you can't be talking. it took you 3 days to reply to my last post. i didn't need a few days to come up with a reply, it's just that i haven't been on the net in a few days. i don't sit at the computer all day. it's called having a job. you're not making a point. yall criticize 50 for being booed off but don't say anything about ja. the only reason i laughed at ja for getting booed off because it is happening to him at just about every concert these days. i could understand once or twice, but damn, when it's to the point that you get booed off at a live awards show aired on BET, maybe it's time to put the pads and pens away.

FIFTY CENT PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO ASSAULT

50 Cent has pleaded not guilty to an assault charge stemming from an alleged altercation at a concert earlier this year.

The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, was absent from the Springfield, Mass., court on Monday, but his lawyer Steve Leary entered the not guilty plea.

The incident occurred at the city's invite-only Spring Jam event on May 10. During his performance, 50 Cent was hit in the head by a water bottle thrown from the crowd and allegedly leapt into the crowd after the fan, leading to a brawl.

50 Cent is scheduled to appear at a pre-trial meeting on February 8.
